  1. I wish my metabolism was a quick as yours... Stabilization
  2. I've been working out for a while now and I'm looking to strengthen my serratus anterior. I'm doing pullovers which I know hits them, but I'm looking for something that hits them a little more directly. I workout from home and have free weights if that's helps? Any suggestions?
  3. Thanks bigbill and good luck with your health. Does the botox injection mean that bigfoot is gonna walk around looking like Pamela Anderson? ..
  4. As long as we work like that, I'll be down......Just to keep on topic, in all sincerity, sweet fish you got!
  5. @TnRiver46, I've been in construction since the late 80's, I like your way of doing construction work better!
  6. @pauldconyers, what kind of waters you fishing in? Each jig will work anywhere but they will excel better in conditions they were designed for. For example: Arky heads work great around wood/laydowns and football heads in rocky bottoms. Learn what the jig heads were designed for and maximize your chance at a trophy. Just my $0.02 worth.
  7. I used to love those baits and have gotten away from them the past few years...As mentioned above, I used them on jigs but I think I like them best t-rigged. Anywhere from 1/8 oz to 1/2 oz, depending on the rate of fall I'm looking for or if I'm trying to get thru some matted weeds. Maybe heavier is the weeds I'm trying to get thru is being stubborn that day. There are so many different ways to fish a grub.
  8. @Quarry Man, I think it's great that you're getting with your grand father, I would have loved to do that when if he was alive. Like many said, stocked trout should be an easy catch. I've seen a 2 pole method kinda like what bluebasser described except that 1 pole would be soaking a hook with powerbait and while the other is for a horizontal presentation like an inline or a spoon. I started out as a fly fisherman and sometimes I would remove the rear hook on a popper and tie on a 2' or so section of line with a nymph or a dry fly, depending on what I'm seeing and would use bass fishing gear. Anyway, good luck and enjoy your day with you granddad.
  9. I agree with @ww2farmer, you can't beat the quality for the money.
  10. ^^^^omg, too funny
  11. I saw that, thanks. It's been great viewing your work...take care
  12. Gotta admit @Catt, that's a technique I haven't tried but will be now. Just hope my alligator arms can reach that far down. Thanks for posting this bud!
  13. Crawfish in general, not just New England are hard to "match the hatch", so to speak. They seem to go through different phases. I stick to greens, browns, black & blues for the most part. Once you get bit you can pretty much dial it in from there. Now that you mention it, that would be an interesting study.
  14. Are the Rolaids being used as a back-up in case the Pats comeback in the last few seconds to win? Just kidding. I haven't made Buf Wings in forever, but I like the idea for a mid to late afternoon appy. Thanks for posting!
  15. Oh man, that doesn't even account for wind chill, does it? Hopefully you had beans last night to warm the truck up.
  16. Tonight it's our turn to get the remnants of the polar vortex. -20* wind chill and single digits for a high tomorrow. Mid 30*'s & 40*'s for the weekend and 50*'s - almost 60* by Tuesday...Crazy!
  17. Great advice @BaitFinesse and @Fishingmickey.
  18. I hope it's true, I lost far too many loved ones this year alone.
  19. Wow @Way2slow, what are the odds? Irony is not lost, that's for sure. OMG, did you really have to go there...
  20. Oh man, that's just not right...My fingers are crossed for you guys. Stay safe my friend.
  21. That is sweet, man! That would actually be a great spinnerbait trailer for my upcoming trip to FLA. I'll have to find something similar. Thanks for posting!
  22. SAHWEET! Great job @FCPhil!
