  1. Have a tube reversed t-rig as a follow up should you get a strike and no button up.
  2. Can't agree more, the bottom lure and/or weight picks up way too much slime come late spring early summer.
  3. A tube in reverse. Killer!
  4. That's exactly how I'm doing @Catt it save for using 1 hook instead of 2.
  5. That bank weight is highly recommended for the rocks, reefs and jetties I plan on fishing this summer with a dropper loop rig.
  6. Agreed @TnRiver46, in the hair jigs, most of of the striped bass I caught were on a bucktail jig.
  7. Ouch! Doesn't sound like it's repairable.
  8. Try spiced rum (ya know, the one with the pirate on it) kahlua and splash of milk, ice lil cheaper and tasted better
  9. Post it up! Especially you man, I need the 411! @bulldog1935 is a wealth of 411 but so are you. I want to make the most of 2021 in the water this year. I’ll take any info I can get. Even if I have to get your orange volunteer butt up here with your fiancé! I DONT CARE! ?
  10. My Italian upbringing is: Eata eata eata We don’t eat low carb ?
  11. I agree, can’t burn off a bad diet. I have a different approach but it really comes down to the the same thing: Calories in vs Calories out As you get older you find that the more muscle you can make and preserve the better your metabolism will serve you. So far it works. Father Time will win out but he’ll have a heck of a time with me...lol Haha, I did the same thing until one day my daughter said “um dad, you’re getting round” ?
  12. In a profound way this is exactly what happens when you lose weight and also maintain it, especially in a social setting. Well spoken @A-Jay
  13. I thought they ate it when it was dying ... not dead?! ?
  14. Hey @DogBone_384, sorry about the trip. Keep looking for spot and logging on your electronics and chalk it up to a cold experience. @Mr. Aquarium is the rod that bad that it can’t be repaired? Its winter and I’ll pony up to repair it for ya?
  15. I know there have been some crossover tactics and lures, but was wondering if spinners and spinnerbaits have made the crossover? I’ve had really good success with lipless crankbaits. I’m pretty sure I’m up to 11 or 12 species fresh and salt combined on my favorite bait? What are some of the lures you use for both salt and freshwater fishing?
  16. About the ones that have a hook tied at the line tie @Guitarfish. From what I read Japanese anglers kinda started that with great success, what’s the theory behind that? I’m wondering if another mod needs to be made to the ones I bought? Thankfully I’m in winter mode. ? BTW, really appreciate the info here. You have no idea. Many thanks.
  17. The bump 3 feet above my belt isn’t used for just a hat rack...?
  18. @DanielG, that was a great vid you put together. Thank you for sharing. Also loved the idea. Fly tying meets plug making. Out of the box thinking at its best.
  19. Hey bud, really enjoyed the vid. You should go over to the intro section and let us get to know you? Look forward to seeing some more content from ya. ?
  20. I always say “never start a diet on a Sunday” @NorcalBassin. 3-4 lbs a month is very doable. If I can give you 1 piece of advice. Take it fwiw. The lbs will probably start coming off quick. Don’t be alarmed it’s your system flushing out extra glycogen. Then you’ll probably get about 1/2 - 1 pound a week based on you 3-4 lb per month goal. You gonna get to a point where you may hit a plateau. 2 things are happening. 1 your body is getting used to the new you and 2 you have to adjust your caloric deficit again. For example. If 2000 Cals is your current maintenance and you cut 300 - 500 Cals to the new you where you plateaued. That 1700 Cals is your new you maintenance. If you want to cut more weight you gonna have to cut more cals again to be in a caloric deficit. You probably know this but a lot of people make the mistake and think they failed and end up yo-yoing back to where they came from. Good luck to the new you.
  21. That rod looks like it’s got some decent power in the butt end for a rod that can whip out a 1/32 oz lure @bulldog1935. That’s a sweet setup. Good luck with it.
  22. Cool man, again, I’m glad I stumbled on this thx!
  23. It’s funny you posted this, I was reading the “user’s guide” and it mentioned that you set the tension just enough where you take the side to side play out of it. If I’m reading your posts correctly your suggesting to leave a little side play? Sorry, not trying to beat s dead horse here. ?
  24. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this post. I got 2 Daiwa Rods for Christmas and just had to order 2 Daiwa BC's. Just came in today. Unfortunately we're iced in...I'll leave them in the box to keep the dust off them til ice out. ? Good luck with them!
