  1. I would love to @Nitrofreak but as you well know I’ve had to make some adjustments. Best to save that for our other form of communication... ?
  2. My fingers will be crossed for you! ?
  3. Awesome Nitro. So glad to hear you got out and enjoyed the day. Your patience was well rewarded. ?
  4. I went down the rabbit hole of trying different techniques but came full circle to what works for me. I don’t get a lot of time fishing these days, hoping to change that this year, but I’m out to relax and catch fish, not practicing casting. With what limited time I have I’d rather go tried and true and have fun doing it. BTW: My tackle box(es) are lighter too! ?
  5. HaHa...got it...?....good luck bud.
  6. Drop shot and use a mojo sinker? Just throwing out an idea here.
  7. Admittedly I breezed through a lot of the posts above. All of them gave you really good advice. The 2 things that resonated to me was blue86’s post about keeping the colors simple and scaleface’s presentation and lure weight. Well said. Spinnerbait are one of my personal fav’s but they also can be a slippery slope. Read the posts again and avoid paralysis by analysis. ?
  8. Getting rid of some gear finally? ?...Is that step 1 of the 12 steps? ?
  9. I really like the idea of a spinning reel on a fly rod! I love fly fishing don’t get me wrong but sometimes you just don’t have the room for a back cast on a fly rod. You really have me thinking bulldog1935. ?
  10. My apologies for making what turned out to be a bad joke. I hope you get your computer issues resolved.
  11. There are a few threads on that lake in the Northeast Forum if you want to get better advice.
  12. Where the contours are tight like that it just shows the land dropping faster. The area that WRB I think is referring to is just under the yellow part where the word "TRAL" is. That is quite possibly the best location. and you can follow that to your 1st circle. The area I was referring to is a good area in my opin and can be productive in the center towards north and northwest. Try concentrating on those 2 areas.
  13. Oh oh, whatchya got cooked up for those unsuspecting finned creatures in 2021?
  14. Cool man, I'm glad that works for you...although, I'm not sure why you want to argue with me? Not many peeps have external hard drives, all I'm offering up is an alternative. Didn't mean to step on your toes on this one. With that...I'm done here
  15. Put the "who cares" files on the cloud and the personal files on a flash drive or external hard drive?
  16. You really missing that phone dial up huh @jimmyjoe. "You got mail" ... ?
  17. Just commenting on the 4 locations you circled: Of the 4 the one in the middle where the contour is 40 is the only one that gives me any tingling sensations. That seems to drop from to 45 rather quickly. Would be great if there was some kind of structure or cover to it? The other 3? Not much there IMO unless it has any kind of structure.
  18. Windows 10 allows you to Reset the computer without losing personal data. If you're nervous about it you can save to the One Drive Cloud prior to resetting. I've done it on a couple of computers on my home computers without a hitch.
  19. They stopped supporting Windows 7 a little while ago. My work computer finally crapped out about a month ago. I've been running Windows 10 at home since it came out...I haven't really noticed a difference. On Windows 10 at work now. I'm not a big fan of Edge, made Google Chrome my default.
  20. Not sure how you're doing in Michigan, but back at the mother land it's been in the 40's. I'm little concerned that our winter is going to get extended once again into spring delaying my start date to be on the water. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you.
  21. Funny...but sadly true ... ?
  22. Of course you can. Wouldn't have hurt my feelings...?
  23. @jbsoonerfan I have basically evolved into a minimalist lifestyle. I have slowly removed the "clutter" that is not needed in my life and only do/use/consume what is needed. This runs the gamut from fishing, internet, social media (I'm only on this one and don't hang around long before life gets in the way again), foods I eat, to people I do and do not associate with as well as how I workout. It's a process to weed out and "declutter" but it's been making a huge difference in my life. I hope you "find" what you're looking for to get you in that happy place you sound like you need. Good luck! EDIT: BTW - You'll be missed...?
  24. My fav was the Spit'n Image by Excalibur now Heddon. That lure would vortex like a bullet on a cast, so distance wasn't an issue and was just big enough to entice any size bass to bite.
