  1. When it come to smallies on here and other sites,,pretty much it's the Tiny torpedo who gets the top water praise,,What about the Baby Torpedo,,,are you guys talking quantity over quality,,,I know smaller baits will get you more fish,,,,but I never hear of anyone using the Baby Torpedo,,,it's always the tiny one. Is there a reason for that ?
  2. We went fishing today and I swear, that they all must have been sleeping,,we laughed and joked about it,,and then my partner asked me,,,Do fish sleep ?,,,,,,,I thought about it,,and said I don't know,,,,,,,,,,"DO THEY SLEEP ?"

  5. Going to fish a river in mid June,,,,water level is 2 to 4 ft average, but there are some deeper areas up to 8 ft in mid river,,but not many,,water temp is 75 degrees,,,,will be fishing from 6am to 2pm,,,,,all smallies,,,,don't know what the weather conditions will be like,,,,cloudy,,,bluebird skys,,,ect,,,,but could use some advice from you guys that fish rivers on a regular basis,,,,as far as what to throw in the early morning, under cloudy skys,,,sunny,,would you switch baits as the day went on,,,,ect,,,,would really appreicate it. 7. I noticed nobody mentioned lure wt. I can pitch a heavier lure further than a lighter one,,but I'm more concerned with accuracy and lure presentation than how far I can pitch it. But I would say 20 to 30 ft.
  8. I've been bass fishin all my life in lakes,,,and I live 20 minutes from one of the best Smallmouth fisheries around,,The Susquahanna River ,,and only fished it 4 times,,,dumb on my part I know, I didn't do bad,,but I have a hard time dealing with the current,,I could use some advice. Whats the best way to handle it,,do you drift through the good spots and motor back up and do it again,,drag an anchor,,,does a drift sock work,,,I have no problem anchoring by the current break on the downside of an island,,but fishing the other areas ,,just moving too fast to fish it right,,,,any advice you have I would appreciate,,thanks
