  1. It's like when your used to eating mcdonalds and you then start eating prime rib..it takes an adjustment period.
  2. Heres an important bit of info. When you bring your rod to the Post office, they will tell you the cheapest is retail ground, and it is, until they add on the "balloon" charge based on the rods height, often bumping a $17 charge to $37. Ask them to send it priority 2 day, it is often the same $17, with no balloon charge. They will not tell you this, as retail always comes up as the cheapest, never factoring in the balloon charge. Have you tried pony express?
  3. Doubt it.
  4. The Blue Nun
  5. My wife and I did a mini self tour of 3 wineries in VA. Very nice wineries, terrific wine and great countryside. I did the same thing in upstate NY, cool places as well.
  6. A handle..your funny.. a handle of that and a lid of mexican..
  7. When your used to manishevitz, it's not tough to move up.
  8. Yep..the mental abuse is so much worse.
  9. If you beat them, now that would be ironic.
  10. Good going buddy..glad your happy. Why am I not surprised that you have red headed step children..
  11. I don't think the circumstances are lining up for the bills..but you never know, that's why they play the games.
  12. Yep, there's a bunch of roaming pods in there.
  13. Never heard of any around here, but your home pond has one of the only healthy alewives populations around..bass gobble them up.
  14. Stating the obvious but here goes. I would venture a guess that nobody is going to shell out $750 for random gear, when they can spend much less and hand pick what they really want..on top of that, the guy your looking to buy this from you has to live near you. Personally, I would break it into lots of $25-$50 or so,take better pics showing the baits and include some shipping in there. You will sell it a lot faster, but it will be more work.
  15. and don't feed them after midnight.
  16. I've been fishing that pond regularly for 40 years, took my pb of 9.5 from there. I know there are bass in that pond over 10lbs, I've seen them. I personally haven't seen any difference in size or numbers over the years..I have seen more ignorants on jet skis and speedboats though. Hamma, you are correct, the ramp was paid for by the state then given to the town and immediately privatized, I have access but think it is very unfair.
  17. The original Sebiles were quality lures. I'm going to guess without ever handling one, that the new incarnation are not close to the same. There was a reason the old Sebiles cost double or more than the new ones.
  18. Too late ?
  19. Well that's a pat on the back and a kick in the arse.
  20. Thanks for the like buddy.
  21. I feel like this thread was started by someone's wife logged in as a member.
  22. The only problem with them is the light wire hooks. If you like the td, you will love the flapslap, great bait for numbers. Another similar bait that works very well is the evergreen sledge escarda.
