  1. I just subscribed to this catalog this year and my first magazine was the march addition. In the mail call section there was a comment about a story ran in the February addition about a story that i believe was called bobby jo fishes again or something along them lines. I would really like to read the story and was wondering if anyone knew of link or someway I could get my hands on this story. I looked on the bassmaster website but could not find anything. If someone could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
  2. The reason for all the tangles is you have too much line on the reel. If you take off some line it should help you out. Follow the guide on the side of your reel for what lbs line and how much. Hope this helps
  3. Does more bearings mean more chance of a backlash? I'm looking to buy a new baitcaster. My first go round was a flop but I want to give it another shot. My first baitcaster had 9 bearings but i only paid 35 bucks for it. I was wondering if fewer bearings would be better for a beginner.
  4. If your reel has this feature do you use it alot? Is it neccesary if you want to flip? Thanks in advance
  5. Anyone have any experiance with this baitcaster? I like what I see so far and the reviews Ive read so far are good. I noticed it had that centrifical braking system, is it as good as advertised? Thanks in advance.
  6. Looking to buy a baitcasting reel. wanting to spend between 50 to 75 bucks. I owned one previosly and sold it because i had alot of problems with backlash. Could anyone recommend some tips on how to prevent this. I want to try againg because i feel like I should be able to learn how to operate one. Also what is a good line to use and what test weight. I was using 8 pound on my other one. Alot of querstions i know but I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance
  7. This is my first post. Looking to spend between 50 and 100 bucks on a new spinning reel. What would you all reccomend? thanks in advance.
