  1. Throw one on the back of a white chatterbait in the fall and spring and hold on....
  2. Happy Birthday Kent!!
  3. Ish uses a 8ft. Steez flipping stick nothing wrong with a little extra length......
  4. Cumara 7'2MXF 50e 8lb flouro.
  5. Save up a 100$ dollars, and look at the flea market on here and multiple other forums you can get an avid or a crucial for around a 100$. A bottom contact rod is not something you want to skimp on. Just my .02$
  6. G-splash.
  7. Location and presentation are the 2 most important things when fishing a soft plastic. You mentioned you are constantly tossing at the bank move off the bank and find some deep water structure a grass line or a creek channel ect. Then figure out how the fish want the soft plastic fast/slow or anywhere in between they will let you know.
  8. Nice fish too bud!
  9. Is all the algae gone in that pond yet?
  10. Snag one of the old one's while they last they are great little reels.
  11. Hooligan you are correct the 6'9 would not be a good rod for jigs I knew the 7'0 M was a part of the reaction line but didn't know if the 6'9 was.
  12. That thing is a FATTY for sure! WTG!
  13. I have both rods except my Dobyns is a Savy. Cumara without a doubt for that application.
  14. The Compre is a great rod for the money. I had two before upgrading to Cumara's they far outperform their price tag! Stick a big lady with it to break it in>
  15. Those 2 rods Imo are in 2 totally different classes. It's like trying to compare a Honda to a BMW. With that being said if you are not worried about the money, go with the Cumara. The 7'0 M is a part of the Cumara reaction series It is an SUPER spinnerbait rod but would deff not be good for throwing jigs/worms . If you are looking for a versatile rod to throw spinnerbaits as well as jigs/worms I would go with the 6'9 mh Cumara.
  16. Yeah those fish have mammoth mouths, and make those jigs look snack sized!
  17. Made the switch to apple products and have never been happier.
  18. Welcome back!

  23. I always do it! Every time were heading out on the water I'm up an hour earlier than necessary.
  24. I just notice how far his hand goes up on the belly of that fish, and how small the tail section is. Also a 13# is always fat, and that fish looks like a typical summer skinny fish.
