  1. Nice Hawgs! Wtg!
  2. Well Clary, The economic system we live under here in the United States drives prices of goods/services that are limited/desired up, and goods/services that are plentiful/undesired down. To illustrate this fundamental economic principle, let's say one consumer spends 3x more money than another on any given good/service. The consumer who spent the greater amount of capital is purchasing a good/service that is either A. more desirable and or B. more limited. So, by applying this economic principle to Redlinerobert's pricey combo you can see why I was shocked by the low rating it received. The pricetag on the combo Redlinerobert posted was dictated by either one or both of the forces mentioned above. Basically, Robert's combo is either A. unique or B. Quality. So, yes Clary I'll be the first one to admit I was a little surprised to see a piece of merchandise that posses traits of either being rare or quality faced with opposition. It's kinda like seeing a shooting star, it's unusual and tends to shock the viewer at first. On a side note post a description of a Walmart combo with cheap monofilament ,and see how that combo gets rated............Money isn't relevant!?!? It all goes back to the simple concept you get what you pay for. Oh wait this only holds true to people who don't try and purposely purchase miss marked items......
  3. Gave this a 7............ I mean it is only a 1,000 dollar combo
  4. Never caught a fish on a spinnerbait!? Throw those things up shallow near any visible cover in the spring and fall and you can catch some slobs!
  5. 8/10 Wish it was a Core 50, but I love this little 50e's and happen to have a few myself. Cumara's are a super stout rod, and are downright hard to beat for the money. Good set-up I like it. Stradic 2500FI Cumara 7'2 MXF 8# P-line CXX Shakey head combo.
  6. Awesome fish! Gotta love those Northstar jigs!
  7. Best jigs on the market IMO, and he sponsor's this forum!
  8. Awesome fish! Excellent pictures, and video! WTG!
  9. Izorline Is good stuff! Bought a few bulk spools awhile back, and have really liked it. Give it a shot.
  10. Find and old crucial GREAT rods for the money. Also look around in the flea market you can get a heck of a stick for around that price!
  11. I'm happy to see anyone out fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. Wether they are fishing with a live bluegill or a jig is solely their decision. With that being said I have more fun fishing with artificial baits.
  12. I wonder who told him to add in the god and school part......
  13. Atta boy Red! That's a nice fish!
  14. Iv'e missed seeing those big ole' smallies! WTG!
  15. LOL A-Jay's dogs look like sled dogs though!
  16. Idk if my German Shepard could keep up. I usually average 6+ miles on my runs unless I am interval training. Do your dogs have trouble keeping up with you?
  17. I want to non-boat your club this year Sam too but you never give me the info!
  18. Slow down! Don't stress over it too much and make a rational decision. Community college is most definitely worth a look. You could stay at home work and figure out what you want out of college/life ect. Even if you decide you want to transfer into a big time university you would only have to pay for 2 years of schooling, and your degree would be NO different than the kids who payed for all 4 years!
  19. I have 7 cumara's and they are NASTY rods I have caught some big ole' Catfish as well as gar, and multiple 5+ # bass on them. They are still relatively new to me (8 months old), but they have given me no issues WHAT SO EVER. I am a firm believer in the Cumara line and there durability. Oh yeah on a side note if you break a Cumara send it back Shimano!!! They back their rods with the best warranty in the Business.
  20. Now this is AWESOME! I look forward to reading his future input! :D
  21. Aruku shad, although a red eye shad has been a big producer as well.
  22. Those brown bass are pigs indeed! I have been fishing the New river recently trying to get my fall fatty!
  23. Those are the days we fishermen live for! WTG
  24. That's a weird spot to break a rod!? WTG on the hawgs as always Big-O
