15 and been fishing all my life I have noticed this but I think its because kids have internet video games ect that the choose to stay inside instead of enjoy the wonderful world before them. I usually see the biggest crowd of fisherman mid summer when its the hottest me I go ice out to ice in
well in maine the ice is still out on the lakes and I am antispating ice out I have heard Blade baits, suspending jerkbaits and one bladed spinnerbaits work good during this time but How about a shaky head rig? anyone use them during this time?
well there has been this new buzz about strike kings new lure called the red eye shad. Its basically a rattle trap but better profile and reflectent red eye(Hence the name) Has anyone used these and if so has it given you good luck or would I just be better of using my old rattle traps?
Ive noticed lots of different colors of lines on the market these days and there have been many arguments over it. Is there anything to it or is it a good idea to just stick with clear.
I made a mistake it is actually a 7 foot berkley lighting rod im6 line weight test 10-25 and lure weight oz 1/4-1 1/4
what you have is a good "throw whatever" bank rod. lighter cranks and weightless plastics is a start.
I forgot to say that The rod is a medium heavy does that change anything?
I have been bass fishing for 2 years so im fairly new and working at being better by first getting the right rod setups I have this but dont know what to do with it What would be the best use for a 7 and a half foot medium action casting rod and a 6:1.1 okuma baitcast reel. If you could tell me a good use for this and what kind of line to use I would greatly appreciate it.
