    Another vote for dad. I've fished several with mine and they were some of the most fun experiences I've had. He's not a bass guy, he's fished Walleye more than anything else, but it was more about the time we got to spend together doing that. We fished some fairly big tournaments and really never competed for the win, but we always had a ton of fun.

    I’ve found the more I research the better i usually do. Anymore guys will do a lot of that for you and share in articles and videos before each tournament. Bassmaster links a bunch of pick ‘em articles before each tournament and some of those are pretty good.
