  1. If that ice is off I would be on it! it will warm up quick! Throw a trap or a spinner bait! try slow and fast retreives, until you get them to bite I have been fishing 39 degree water and catching them in less than 5 ft of water. aim at the bank make a bunch of casts you WILL catch a big fish when its cold if they are in there..... good luck and tight lines!!!

  3. Hey Guys there is going to be an open, on lake James in northern indiana. The entry is $70 includes big bass.. It was a bunch of fun last year.. huge fish were caught.. launching at corner landing april 2nd. hope to see you there.. any questions let me know..

  5. Guys I just wanted to let you know, our bass club will be hosting an open tournament! Wawasee September 25th launching from syracuse ramp! It's a saturday from 7am - 3pm the information is on the IBF page or you can contact me we are looking for a large turnout! The spring open brought 38 boats. It's only 75 bucks and it includes big bass.. per boat.. check in begins 5 am at wawasee high school. parking will be at the molasses factory. meeting will be at 6:30 am. there will be 2 flights if more than 50 boats show up. Mark your calenders guys and I hope to see you all there.. The payouts are as follows based on 50 boats! 1st $700.00 2nd $425.00 3rd $375.00 4th $325.00 5th $275.00 6th $225.00 7th $175.00 8th $125.00 9th $75.00 10th $75.00 and big bass is 5 dollars per so its based on the number of boats we will have a 50/50 drawing and raffling a st croix mojo rod!

I have a bass club tournament in a few weeks any tips would be greatly appreciated! maybe some navigational info is there alot of debris in the water logs stumps that I should worry about busting the hull on or tearing up my lower unit? Also looking for a campground close by its gonna be a 2 hour ride and I was thinking of prefishing this weekend with the girlfriend!
  7. Well I did not get a chance to look up bob, but I did end up catching a few nice smallies! and a huge drum on a senko thought it was a monster smallie..LOL That lake is awesome! Just a desolate flat lake with big waves. Fish are scattered everywhere. I was able to have a follow by a small muskie too seen several 50 inchers busting outta the water! It was an awesome experience
  8. Heading up from near the detroit river this weekend, to hopefully catch some 4-5 lb smallies! Its a 4 hour trip from indiana, but I really wanna catch a few. I havent caoght a smallie that big yet. any help would be appreciated Thank you! btw I only catch and release!

  10. I used to fish cedarville res when I had my flat bottom boat but since I have the bigger boat I havent even thought of going up there maybe I should.. Can you use your big motor to get on and off your trailor at hurshtown? Where is cedar creek Is that accesible from shoaf park?
  11. yeh I fish blue lake, lake everett. some lakes in columbia city I like webster but thats only for the muskie
