I am looking for a inexpensive reel just soley for crankbaits. It doesnt have to high end or brand name just want something that has the lower speed gears and can be used without tearing up the first time used. Is there anybody out there that knows of the hidden gems for cranking. Used is ok too, Can be an older model too, just give some ideas

Went last friday in Browns Creek, found some hard bottom and got them started on a carolina rig, but the best bait was the new Rapala Thug helsinki shad, caught 13 for day with big fish of 7 lbs, also caught some on lipless but seemed to be smaller fish, bigger ones came on the THUG

Was wondering if there are any lower priced reels that compare favorably to Revos as far as performance and durability and ease of use. They could be from any companies, and older models too, or used. Just looking for something that is a good value and very dependable, and plus I like the REVO's, but dont want to spend that $$ right now. Any help would be apprecaited

not me but my cousin, we were coming in to the dock and he was on the front and was going to step off and go get the truck, well when he went to step his foot caught one of his rods and it made him miss the dock and he went into the lake and swam around the other side to get back to land, and got the truck all wet

get a 2 liter bottle cut the top off about 2 or three inches down save it for later, put a rock, or half a brick in 2 liter and a couple of hot dogs, take the top you cut off and flip it around and stick it in the 2 liter spout side down and staple with a stapler, place around rocks and wood and let soak, you will have to put rocks on top of it so the raccoons will not get the hot dog, and so it will stay down where you need it, they crawl in to get the hot dog but cant crawl out
