  1. Thank you. I will look him up.
  2. I am traveling to Vermont around July 16 to visit a friend. If time allows while I am there I would love to fish Lake Champlain. I am staying around Ferrisburg. Anyone that is from that area recommend a guide for smallmouth fishing?
  3. I just purchased a used fiberglass boat that the tag registration decals have been painted on. The decal will have to be changed because the boat changed states. Not sure what kind of paint was used. What would be the beat way to remove without damaging the gel coat?
  4. I am looking at a used 2004 Xpress X19. I ended up selling my sea ark to get something a little bigger and faster. The boat is 6 hours from my house. The guy told me that this boat does not really have rod storage. It is a dual console. He is an older gentlemen and that did not bass fish and it just seemed off that a boat like this would not have decent rod storage. Any one have any ideas before I waste 12 hours of driving?
  5. I am looking at a 2004 Xpress x19 with a Yamaha 150 4 stroke. I need an aluminum boat for where I fish. I already have a 1999 zx180 with a 2 stroke 115. If I sell my boat for what I think, I will be spending about $8000 difference. I can put a new 4 stroke on my boat for $10,000? I need a boat that will last me a lifetime. I know the SeaArk hull will last me a lifetime. The layout of my Seaark is not that great. My question is is the Xpress worth the price difference?
  6. Will running Mercury quicksilver oil in a Johnson 115 hp be fine?
  7. I ended up mounting it to a transducer board with the original bracket. I moved it above the bottom of boat and hoping it will be fine. Also installed a high speed transducer that I already had on the boat. I am getting on plane readings and it is out of the way so the mega doesn’t pick it up. I am coming from a 798 unit so the picture on the mega is unreal compared to what I have been used to.
  8. I have a Seaark Zx180 aluminum bass boat. Just purchased a Helix 10 G2n mega. Installed today but it was raining and didn’t get to test the transducer location. The way the hull is on this boat I have it mounted in about the best spot. My concern is this mega transducer is huge and I am worried about breaking it off. It is mounted a little above the bottom of boat. Do they make any special bracket to help keep it from hitting stumps or any obstruction?
  9. I just bought an aluminum Sea Ark Zx180 bass boat. It has a livewell in front and rear. It only has a way to pump fresh water into the system. It has a pipe that plugs the hole and the water overflows at the top of the hole in the pipe. I fish some small fruit jar night tournaments and I am not sure this livewell will keep the fish alive. Water temps are in the upper 80s and I always cool the water with ice blocks and use please release me or catch and release. Should I add a recirculating pump? If so, how difficult is this? Should I just use a pump that has the suction cups on bottom? Or is a pro air system or oxygenater the way to go? thanks
  10. Thanks. Is the triton 17tx a good boat? I have an opportunity to buy one that was won in a tournament for about $5000 less than retail.
  11. How stable is this boat? Right now I have a nitro 190 and I am not sure how I will like going to a aluminum boat.
  12. Would it be worth the price to purchase the HDSI transducer.
  13. I think mine must be the compact transducer.
  14. I have the transducer that came with the unit. It is not the HD unit. I have had the unit for awhile.
