I agree with 2/3 of that. I'm a huge Boston sports fan and cannot even bear to watch Charlie Moore. Drives me nuts. Not sure why he even has a show, but apparently a lot people must really like him. I actually like Zona. He reminds me of going out fishing with an excited buddy and he's always humble about his skills while out on the water. The Linders seem to always fish public waters and show you just how they're catching them so you can too. Gotta respect that.

That was impressive. Even more impressive to me was that none of the other anglers could duplicate his catches when he was out of that hole the entire 3rd round.

Literally ordered at least 30-40 times from them and never once been late with a shipment. I'm about 5 hours away from them but the order is always at my door around 10:00 a.m. next day if I order by 1:00. You're going to have a lot of really good options in that price range. I'm going to mix up your ratio and just go with the $300 total. My recommendation for an all-purpose rod would be a G Loomis SJR782, 783 or 843 teamed up with a Shimano Symetre 2500. TheHookUpTackle has some of the "rep" IMX rods left on sale @$205/$210 and the new version of the Symetre with X-Ship is just $99 and plenty of a reel for your needs. Best of luck with your search!

Somehow my 10 and 7 year old daughters got into the show so they love DVR'ing it and watching it together. Not sure how that ever happened, but I'm pretty stoked it did.

I went with a Chronarch 50e on mine and a curado 200e7 on my green 893. Probably my two favorite set ups.

Absolutely terrible. Thoughts and prayers to the 8 year old kid's parents and family as well as all the other victims/families. Some of the photos make Kevin Ware's injury look like a hangnail... hopefully the kid in custody makes it easy for them to quickly connect the dots. I'll never understand the mindset of attacking the innocent.

It's pretty cool seeing Reese and Chapman using stuff that I would not even consider buying for myself. Makes me think I *may* have wasted some $ the past few years...

I've been a subscriber for 2+ years and a critic of the lack of editing basic grammar and misspellings. I will gladly say this issue has been the best so far, and I'm hoping the trend continues for the rest of the year. I look forward to reading every issue.

Gotta put a Shimano on that puppy! A 2500 Symetre, Saros, or Stradic FJ would be perfect.

Just starting to heat up here. Try a Rage Recon worm if you're fishing slow or a 3/8 to 1/2 oz swim jig with a 5" swimbait trailer for bigger fish.

That way we cannot use them as real life swimbaits. Seriously.

I'm more than happy to help a genuine fisherman with general advice (drop shot with a 4" worm, jig w/Rage Craw trailer, etc), but I'll leave the color out of it. That being said, it's pretty rare around here to hear anyone sharing specifics on the water or at the ramp. It can get a little snobby in CA.
