It's like the freshwater jaws! You grand-kids will look back and put you in the same boat as perry when tell them this story in the nursing home! My biggest muskie (and my only one) was 17lbs and even then it felt like a monster! Nice work man!
Once again I'm busy finding ways to spend money with the help of the bait monkey's hunting season aka Indiana winter.
So ya, I'm starting crappie as a side thing from bass, and catfish. I'm going to fish from shore but all i have are bass lures and all i know how to fish for a are bass and cats. Any basic things i should pick up before starting this spring? All i have right now are a rod and reel it has no line though :-[
what color scheme for the rattletraps do you like most? i got a variety of them but i dont want to take the time to experiment (lazy man right here haha ;D)
Red like their red crayfish pattern is a personal favorite
silver sides blue back
i have just those two colors but those are the most versatile and best producers time and time again
Hay, I made a pact with my friend to use a bait I've never used a year, last year it was slug-go (which is now with me everywhere!). This year i was thinking of giving this a try what do you think?

Or you can suggest a rare bait i might not know of.
It makes fish bite even when they're not hungry, this is because it creates a genetic response. Lol i can still remember that add word perfect. Actually though, I caught a few fish with those, but still not as good a "Roland Martin's Helicopter lure" ah, good times good times
I think one of the only was to fish it WRONG is to not fish it, or melt it to fix other baits. > Preposterous I know but I've seen people do it. They almost fell of the boat that day, to bad it was their boat.
Mmmmm... Makes me sad i wont go fishing here in indy for what feels like 6 months. Nice work on that crappie the only thing i can say is who brought the cooking stuff we got our selves a sandwich!
I caught a complete haas out of a local retention pound i test my lures in (ever since the neighborhood said i couldn't test them in the neighborhood pool, i mean no one used it! ;D). Just did some practice flips into the thick weeds on the sie of the pond with a 7in power worm and BAM this 5 pound largemouth just nails it. I was screaming like ike and on the was back i got some "different" looks from some people
