Easy enough to paddle Self bailing fairly stable good rod holders by seat CONS had to replace seat, it sucked foot pegs broke, had to rivet them front storage compartment is useless not quite stable enough to stand in rocket rod holder is not great-- replaced it side handles tore apart after 3 years a regular milk crate won't fit in back compartment

I have a Regal. Never regretted it. However, all you need is something that will hold the hook or jig steady while you tie. It needs to be at a convenient angle where you can get to the jig with your thread or wire, etc. Lefty Kreh used to tie using needle nose vice grips held in a shop vise. Also, height, lighting and quality of tools and materials are important.

Not to be a jerk, but what will make someone buy your jigs? What will make them different: price, quality, innovation, convenience, or what? How do you plan to market yhem? Just some thoughts.

I bought some BPS straight shank round bend on a whim and was pleased. I really like Tru-Turn, and they seem to stay stuck better. Regular straight hooks hang up easier than Tru-Turn or offset. I guess the easier they hook fish, the easier they get hung up.

I have tried Suffix, Spiderwire, power pro, and Berkley fire line. I use powerpro 65 lb on my BC and fireline 8 lb on spinning. Have not tried smaller powerpro on spinners or larger fire line. Fireline will stain your fingers at first. I do use braid almost 100 per cent. +/- leader.

You are opening up a can of worms, my friend. (Pardon the pun) most people on this site hate swivel snaps. They don't hold up, they impede action, they are communist, sissy, etc. At the risk of being banned, I have used them with no issues. I used one when I wanted a tiny amount of weight fishing worms and started slaying them.
