  1. The reel grips do look funky, but I've them on a couple reels. : The guy tha t does the painting uses auto paints and a clear finish that is very tough. Id like to know what it is :-X
  2. I had the same question when I was putting my new ones in. I found out this is pretty much normal. The friction from the lubricant and very little momentum won't allow them to spin as long as before. Put them in the reel and make some casts, you will be amazed. john
  3. I checked on this store in bizrate.com there have been some problems. epinions.com isn't very good either. Not with my money, although tempting. john
  4. OK I found it, thats different than the one I though ghoti was talking about. Thanks
  5. hitchhiker, I did the same thing to my Sol with the orange seals, and the first cast I noticed a big difference over previously cleaned-oiled stock bearings. No need to cast as hard anymore and I like the sound of them too. j franco, I don't see any grease on the yoke and friction washers like () in the article. Maybe I dont have the right one? (tackletour.com/reviewtdsolpolishing.html)? : gohti, thanks for helping a newbe get started and spool information.
