  1. Probably about 50/50 for me these days. Various places online, or Wal-Mart/Dick's/Bass Pro locally
  2. 5lb largemouth on a Savage Gear Lily Ninja frog
  3. Baby Bass Green Pumpkin Chartreuse Tip Watermelon candy
  4. Got this fatty last week on a wacky rigged yum dinner. Saw 2 fish hanging out and pitched to them and she slammed it immediately. Weight was 6.75 lbs, my new PB! I went to the same spot a couple days later, and saw a lot of fish cruising and just hanging out shallow. I threw a whole bunch of different baits at them and managed to annoy a couple into biting. I've also been up to stumpfield a few times the last week or so, pulled a 4lber and a 3 3/4 lb er out of there. First was on a lizard, the other was on a dropshot.
  5. I had an army buddy I used to fish with every once in a while, and it took a while to get him to stop casting with his entire body and almost flipping the canoe.
  6. I'm 30, and if I never bought another pack, I probably have enough to last me the rest of my life with some left over for my grandkids
  7. I have used z-man chatterbaits previously, but I recently bought supplies from lurepartsonline to assemble my own. I got enough to make 10 baits in 2 different color combos for about $20. As far as rods go, I have been throwing them in a 7' MH Vendetta spinning rod w/ 12/lb test mono
  8. I have 1 360 box with a variety of terminal tackle, which is supplied from other 360s stocked with specific stuff. 360 full of lipless cranks 360 full of other hardbaits Spinnerbait box full 50 pounds of plastics in a big box in my trunk I have a couple tackle bags I use, with some of the above boxes and a few bags of plastics, with a pocket stuffed with pliers and stuff. It stays somewhat organized for a trip, maybe 2 or 3, then its a disaster.
  9. Got out with a couple buddies for a while tonight. Landed 5 bass and a decent sized pickerel, as well as missed a couple more. All fish were caught on a Zoom lizard on a keel-weighted hook swam across the top or just below the surface. Biggest bass was around 2 lbs
  10. Anyone fishing this weekend that wants or wouldn't mind a fishing partner? I haven't been able to get out much and haven't had much luck yet this year.
  11. It works really well in lily pads, especially in gaps between groups of pads.
  12. Weightless lizard, cast it onto the weeds, swim it across the top, then let it sink once it's off the edge of the weeds
  13. Got out to Hoit Rd Marsh on Wednesday, caught a big sunfish and a small bass w/ a Damiki Air Craw on a shaky head, and had a pickerel hit it as well. My girlfriend's son caught a decent sized crappie on some powerbait wax worms. Hit up Sondogardy Pond in Northfield this morning and got another small bass on the shaky head.
  14. Damiki Air Craws- Got a few packs on sale and I can't wait to try them out Cotton Cordell Crazy Shad
  15. I saw on the Southern NH thread that you're moving back up to NH, whenever you do, I have a big old bucket of soft plastics that you're welcome to pick through and take what you'd like. And I probably have some other stuff too, I'll check when I get home. Just shoot me a PM.
  16. I heard back from Fish and Game and they were aware of it and said that it was oxygen depletion
  17. No I didn't, but now that you mention it i'll shoot them a quick email
  18. I swung by Horseshoe Pond in Concord on Monday. The ice was all gone, but there was a big fish kill. Few hundred sunfish, couple dozen bass to include several 3-4 pounders. Hopefully it doesn't affect the fishing there this year.
  19. I throw baby brush hogs on 1/16-1/4oz shaky heads or sometimes as a jig trailer. Full-sized brush hogs I will throw on a larger shaky head w/ an EWG style hook.
  20. Thanks guys. I like the Vengeance for the most part, it's a M action spinning rod, so there is a lot of flex in the tip, which sometimes makes it hard to get a good hookset on spinnerbaits and such. I plan to use it for shad raps, lipless crankbaits, and texas rigs this year. All three bass I caught today were caught on 7' MH tec-spec spinning rod.
  21. Put the canoe in Crooked Pond in Loudon for about 3 1/2 hours earlier. Managed to land 3, couple of 3lbers and a beautiful 6lb LM. All came on a 1/4 oz swim jig w/ a baby rage craw trailer. Also had a couple nice hits o]n a shakey head, but wasn't able to get either one in the boat. One of the 3lbers 6lber
  22. Almost all of my bass I've caught in the last week have come on a chatterbait. Different colors and sizes, but usually on a steady retrieve.
  23. Put the canoe in at Hoyt Rd. Marsh on Friday evening. Managed a couple of 2 lbers and a pickerel. 1st bass was caught on a shakey head and the 2nd on a black/blue chatterbait.
