  1. I'm first in our group, does that mean I get to gloat.... Yipee, right. OK, i'll go back and hide in my corner now.
  2. I'm in
  3. Very true Rhino, Val Monte should have stepped up and ATLEAST called you Long MIke to tell you to replan accommadations. Extremely poor handling on the part of Val Monte. Returned your PM Long Mike.
  4. Reservations made, form going in mail.
  5. Is their any planned events or just fishing everyday? I haven't made one yet, but hope to make this one.
  6. Where's the best place to buy Costa del mars from?
  7. I have some St. Croix LTB, and some dobyns champs. Both are great, have about the best C.S. around and great warrany's. (don't have the new LTB though) I think the LTB is more sensitive than the champ, but the champ usually balances better. I think that is the biggest differances to me between the 2. Either is going to be a great rod. Try to put hands on both and see which feels better to you(handling wise). It will probably come down to personel preference and which you find a better deal on. I personally give the St. Croix a slight edge, but both brands are my favorite 2 rod companys.
  8. For reels, the curado is a very good reel if your fine with not having a 6.? ratio. The STX revo is a very good reel, i think much better than the sx. Seem like I saw them around $150.00 somewhere. I have both and like both, have had no issues with either, but I lean toward abu's. Rods, I can't get on the loomis bandwagon. I tried their crankbait tods and a nrx, sold all. For a less expensive quality rod, like mentioned above the powell's are great. For a little more than that, St. Croix is a great company and the LTB is a great rod. Most of what you'll hear is personal preferance, after a certain price point most rods do very well and it comes down to prefeance.
  9. If anyone is wanting a St. Croix LTB rod, TW is blowing the older models out. A heck of a deal at $159.00 Thought ya'll liked to know.
  10. USPS,Fed Ex, UPS all around $25.00 give or take a few bucks. I usually use USPS.
  11. I'm selling a Shimano Sahara 2500, I think I have it in the flea market. If not $65.00 TYD. Spooled with new Suffix 832 braid 8lb. Reel is like new.
  12. Wel, I was hoping there was a way to delete multiple at once. There was that option before the new board design. May just have to do it one at a time I guess.
  13. How Do I delete watched topics guys, can't find the option.
  14. Any pics or info on net? I heard they made some changes? Are they available yet?
