Our club uses godaddy as well and we've had no problems to date. However, we have access to some real good IT people to support all of our stuff so any problems are directed to them and they can take care of it for us. Another great resource we use is Facebook. I created a Facebook page for the club where I can update faster than sending it to our IT friends for updates. And with most people on Facebook now it's easy to keep everyone connected and up to date.

That's why there is a penalty. Otherwise guys would simply just throw away the dead fish when no one is looking. Of course, a lot of guys are probably doing this anyway but at least they're letting the small fish go in order to get bigger if they've already gut hooked and killed a bigger fish. Just so long as your big fish isn't getting counted towards the 'big fish' pot.

My club is wrapping up our first season and we want to get some nice trophies/plaques/awards for our season champ. Right now we're ordering some small trophies for each event from quicktrophies. However, we really want to get something made for our champs that really pops and folks will be proud to display. Where are some of the places you guys order your trophies from? Thank you so much.

Definitely spinnerbaits. And swimbaits. Got to get out of my plastic worm comfort zone.

Right now we aren't affiliated with any larger organization because we can't seem to get a consensus on who to affiliate with, but I think we're going to hammer that out this year. We fish as team tournaments so each boat is bringing a teammate with them. This way it spreads the costs around and you can compete against everyone else with someone you can work with and not feel like you have to give away any 'secrets'. When we created our schedule we pulled all the other regional schedules like ABA so that we wouldn't have to compete with them, in addition, we scheduled some of ours so that guys may come fish ours as a 'practice' tournament the week before. We also are staying within a few county area with one tournament going to a big lake around Raleigh for fun.

Our club is beginning our 2nd season tournament trail soon. We are growing each month and want to put on the best tournaments in our area. What are some of best and worst things that you guys have encountered that you have really liked in a tournament or really despised?
