  1. Asics gel nimbus, all day, every day.
  2. I fish in WI and i use baby bass, baby bass, and pearl. All lakes clear water
  3. So I love, i mean LOVE 15lb cxx for my spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, however i just can't deal with the memory anymore. I'm looking for a new line that hopefully is as strong and tough as cxx, just a little more supple. I'm thinking about yozuri hybrid, mccoy mean grean, or whatever line you guys have to suggest, and i would especially love to hear from you who have used cxx and made the switch to something else. Thanks for your time!!!
  4. What lake you on in WI?
  5. I personally would go with the LTB, and yes that rod will work great for that application
  6. Having done 8-10 walleye tournaments a year for the last 13 years, i can say i'm glad this is a bass site and not a walleye site!!! You guys are flirting with some little known tricks that have cashed multiple checks for me. In every lake the most overlooked population of walleye are the fish in less than 5ft of water, and those fish are almost always willing to bite something. Now for the rattle trap part, those things can be just dynamite burned for shallow water walleye. I've been crossing over to bass for the last 7 years, and can't believe how much my shallow water walleye experience has helped targeting overlooked offshore bass. Oh, and squarebills.....walleye can't get enough of those either, matter of fact the last tourney i won, all walleye came in less than 2 ft of water and all on squarebills (this was 2006 mind you
  7. Anything! I'd use it for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, or even lipless cranks when ripping them out of weeds. Its an extremely versatile rod.
  8. They are very tip heavy, i don't care for them at all. For that price i'd definitely go with a BPS pro qualifier in 6'6" or 7' MH.
  9. Any fresh weeds will have fish, weed flats that drop off to deep water will be very very good places to start. I'd throw red eye shads and occasionally rip it when it hits the weeds.
  10. What lake?
  11. Yes, you can. And if you wanted, you could even fish one more rod on top of that! 3 rods/lines/presentations a person here in WI
  12. IMO, the shallow blue is the best polarized fishing lens i have used. Ever. The 2 people i had use mine for a day, both ended up buying a pair.
  13. How about you just post it so everyone knows????
  14. Own all 3 and i'd say the LTB are very nice rods, lightweight and sensitive. However anything above the 7'mh casting rods is too tip heavy and i don't care for at all. I'd just skip the elite and go right to the extreme. For the little more you'll pay over the elite, the extreme is WELL worth it, and the extremes are just that, extremely light, well balanced, and sensitive! Now whether the extreme is worth the $120 over the ltb, thats for you to decide Edit: To answer your question, to me there is a noticeable difference from the LTB to Extreme, but not the LTB to elite
  15. Yea i ended up with 5 energy pts and 2 tour editon pts when they changed to the new style and were closing out the old ones, and have beat the tick out of them for the last 3 years and not a hiccup yet. My curados on the other hand? Not even kidding, i gave them away. However, the quantums are no daiwas IMO, but still a great product i think.
  16. I would try it, but cut down for sure. My fav chatterbait trailer is 4.5" shad-a-licious cut down, this might be similar just a smaller profile
  17. Suffix braid, not the 832 stuff though.
  18. I use 10 and 12lb CX on my spinning rods and 15 CX on all 12 of my linecounter combos (i'm a walleye guy too) and i absolutely love it. Never any issues at all. Pretty strong, very manageable, and just and all around great line. And as far as road warrior, i would just pretend you never read his post and go out and get some! ;D
  19. just ordered a bunch of the chunks, i've heard great things about them. Can't wait to give them a whirl! The molten craw color looks like it will be absolutely killer
  20. Not yet, only gone through about 6 bags though
  21. Hahaha thanks francho!! I know there's no way this color will work, i just wanted to double check to make sure i never buy a pack Just like those breen chigger craws that don't EVER get a bite!
  22. I don't have the opportunity to see this color, or most color sweet beavers in person up in here in Wisconsin. On *** this bait looks black with brown swirl and green flake, which is exactly what i'm looking for, but on other sites its looks just black with green flake, and on others it looks like black with a watermelon swirl and green fleck. Can somebody please tell me what color delicious actually is? A pic would be great as well! Thanks for your help!
  23. I switched last year, and my first trip out i couldn't believe the difference!! I'd say about 30% more sensitive at least. Make sure you get weights without the insert in them though, as the insert takes away some sensitivity.
