  1. Welcome! I think we are all salivating for the Spring Classic...at least I am. My wife definitely isn't....
  2. Whoa, that's pretty cool.
  3. Welcome to the forums!
  4. Welcome aboard, Luke!
  5. Welcome aboard, Hue!
  6. Welcome back!
  7. Joining with you in prayer.
  8. Curious, I'm not so sure that's the case here where I fish in VA. Although red is a solid color and produces. However, I did catch bass in the winter on a red rattle trap.... hmmm.

    New Guy

Welcome to the awesome, addicting world of bass fishing!
  10. Darn iPad :-) Congrats! No ice here, but I still couldn't catch one the other day. Now we're having 27mph winds, not exactly kayak fishing weather.

    P90X

I just think it's all insanity, LOL. No really, my brother and a group of friends did P90x over a year - i.e., stretching out the exercises due to limited time. His results were awesome, and now he's on P90x 2 and adhering to the dietary guidelines. Me? I've got P90x. My older sons love it. I want to love it. I want to do it. But my motivation level is low, unfortunately. I need to do it for my health/heart's sake. I'm only 43.5, but am the heaviest I've ever been for my small frame. Once I turned 40, my metabolism seemed to have shut off or dropped off massively over night and what was previously a lifestyle of eating and no worries became the exact opposite. My doc(s) confirmed that this is not uncommon (turning 40 and the changes kick in).
  12. I have used hooks down to size 4 and caught sizeable bass on dropshotting, etc. And fly fishermen catch bass and salmon on hooks even smaller... Just sayin.
  13. I've always relied on pliers, or the old long shank hook removers. Did buy a pencil type version from BPS, but haven't had to use it much. Pliers have worked just fine for me. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Stainless-Steel-Hook-Remover/product/30220/
  14. Very nice work.
  15. Not heard of the color of their mouth thing. But like teal said, if you have a live well, see if they cough up something telling.
  16. Welcome! If you know the TX rig, then get wacky! It'll amaze ya!
  17. Welcome Randy from Orlando!
  18. BTW, welcome! I've seen you posting around the forums, never gave the welcome. Fellow Virginian, to boot!
  19. Welcome! I almost tried float tubing, but around here (the reservoirs I fish), float tubing is not allowed. So I kayak!
  20. Hey, welcome!
  21. When you log in and hit the forums go to your login name and click your profile. You can change your avatar by clicking on the silhouette "picture". Will need to upload photos you want to use. If that's not clear, let me/us know.
  22. Welcome! Nice to have you aboard.
  23. LOL, nah, no ice here in VA ... although during the short freeze we had last week, there was a layer of ice on the reservoir, or parts of it. Rare that we'd actually freeze. Enjoy that yak, man. Customize it and show it off!
