LOL. Apple will be more restrictive on a lot of things.
Android is a bit more ... free. Within limits.
I was an Apple guy for about 25 years. One day my eldest
son and I went to the phone store to upgrade iPhones.
Couldn't afford two of them, no deals. So we bought a BOGO
LG G7 and haven't looked back to iPhones since. That deal
was $750 for two (then) flagship phones vs. about $1800 for
two iPhones. Family couldn't afford to stay with iPhones.
I do love me a good MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad. But darn it if
my Chromebook isn't as productive for general computing,
browsing, watching videos, and much more. And it has a
touch-screen. Yep, I'm one of those who love touch-screens.
And my field is IT - prior to Covid I was an all Apple all the time
guy managing a (now defunct) Apple-centric web site. FWIW,
which is about 2 pence worth of dirt. Steve Jobs' Apple is gone.
