  1. I handed the Boga Grip I bought over to my wife and told her it's my gift this year. Then when my TW order of 7 bags of roboworms and 2 bags of drop shot weights arrived, I handed that over as well, unopened. So I already knew what I was getting, LOL. Now for a chance to use them, and test the Boga!!
  2. I have this one from Bass Pro: http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-EZ-Lure-Retriever/product/44428/ I used it a few times. It is pretty heavy for long distance retrieval, but it does work. And depending on the situation, you may use language not suitable for all audiences.
  3. These are what I've used when dock fishing: http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Tripod-Stool/product/14010308561221/ http://www.basspro.com/Ridge-Hunter-Realtree-Xtra-Tripod-Hunting-Stool/product/13030505562615/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT When specifically targeting bass, I stand, unless I'm fan casting an area from the dock. Sitting is fine if you have an open area to fish.
  4. I've got a 2000, great reel. Placed it on both ML and MXF. Take your pick, both work. I probably like it on the MXF best.
  5. Welcome aboard!
  6. Hi Dave, welcome aboard!
  7. Unfortunately this is "common", and not just Microsoft. Microsoft is, in fact, suing over this very type of scam. http://blogs.microsoft.com/on-the-issues/2014/12/18/microsoft-takes-action-tech-support-scammers/
  8. Wow a Crucial for $90?! Sounds like a great deal. Is it the previous generation? If you can't tell, I'd opt for the Crucial over the Clarus.
  9. I have three Carbonlite rods, 2 casting and 1 spinning. I've considered the Bucoo several times, but after hands on, each time, it felt heavier in the tip. For me that's a dealbreaker. You may not mind. But hey, we're all different. So my vote goes to Carbonlite.
  10. That's a big shad! I've seen some big uns, mostly dead and floating, caught a few as well. But wow, that's a beast.
  11. I consider most of what I throw and how I fish to be "finesse". I've been in some hefty winds with white caps and can attest an anchor or anchor pin is quite helpful. That said, when I want to throw wacky, in order to get the bait down, I'll tie on a wacky jig. Have to keep the rod tip down in the higher winds. More weight, obviously, will help your bait get down to your desired depth better....
  12. Disgraceful...just...ugh. Dareus injured. Playcalling/playacting awful. I'm bummed. Why do I hold out hope year after year after year?! Hey wait, isn't that the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result?!
  13. Pour me a glass as I mourn the loss my Bills took to the Raiders tonight.
  14. Agreed. Though I've had some success with the lesser/lighter "siblings", the Mojo and split-shot rigs.
  15. Likewise, stay safe sound and have a great Christmas.
  16. Welcome aboard!
  17. I like to think of copoly as a "do-it-almost-all" line. Like an SUV of fishing lines. Can go anywhere, do anything. But...I use it as a leader attached to braided mainline.
  18. BC: 20lb yellow Power Pro + Leader Spin: 10lb yellow Power Pro + Leader
  19. Yes you can. It is different than pure FC, but you could use it for everything if you need to. I use copoly for most everything I throw. I will use FC, but not often.
  20. Well done!! A beast!
  21. Lots of wacky rigging info on the site - do a search for more. In the mean time, 95% of the time I rig right through the worm around the egg sack, I lose some, but not enough to cause me worry. On some I've slid on some shrink wrap and slide the hook through it.
  22. 4" senko-style baits, trick worms, finesse worms, flukes
  23. Congrats! Much to be proud of!
  24. Why? I use 1000FI models for bass fishing. Caught quite a few bass over 6 pounds on them. They are extremely capable reels. And good luck, Weld! Catch some beasties.
