  10. Yep! Just did it myself. Let me find the thread and the part numbers that 21Farms gave me. Then you order straight from Shimano. Ok, you want the following parts: BNT4046 - Drive Gear BNT4050 - Pinion Gear https://fishshop.shimano.com/vip/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441848573 I upgraded both of my 50e's to these for a mere $48.80

  17. Welcome aboard, Bill!
  18. Take your pick! I'm a Shimano guy so that's my choice. I got my hands on all the brands while at Bass Pro on several occasions. The Shimanos just felt better in my hands over the Pfluegers, Quantums, et al. So it's a personal decision for which you'll get a bevy of answers on each side. Best advice is go to the store and feel each one on your rod. Which one do YOU think feels best?
  19. If concerned about stability, are you meaning you want to stand, or just want a yak that isn't tipsy when you sit in it? Are you tall for that 300 pounds? Regardless of your height, something stable and not tipsy will mean a wider yak. Something like a Native Ultimate 12 FX, a Feel Free Lure 11.5, etc. Wilderness Systems Ride, etc.
  20. Personally, yes, for bass fishing. But that's me. I choose 10lb Power Pro and it has hauled in waterlogged tree branches several inches in diameter. That said, if I bought some, I'd use it. I'm not deriding your purchase, it is just that I have decided that for my needs, 10 is sufficient, and 15 would be heavy. I use 20 on bait casting reels...
  21. Sounds good! One day I'll get out that way to fish.
  22. Welcome aboard!
  23. Tebow could serve in Chip's offensive schemes whether it be a 4th and 1 situation, 2 point conversion, or backing up the week-kneed Bradford. I'd love to see Bradford succeed, though. He's had bad luck with injuries, or maybe he's just injury-prone... If Tebow's throwing is vastly improved, then who knows.
  24. Shocks are good rods, no doubt. But I love my Carbonlites!! Black or White models, they're both excellent, and super light.
