  1. A nice one is a great one especially if there are no other ones. A good day! Nicely done!
  2. Welp... I was 1-3 in my weekend predictions. Bengals should have won were it not for the insanity at the end. Stupidity at it's most stupid. And wow, I thought the Vike's would pull it off. A reminder of a wide-right attempt back in the early 90's by Mr. S. Norwood. Though not nearly as devastating. And thought the 'Skins would bust the Cheese Heads. But the '14-15 MVP showed up.
  3. Mentioned quite a few times about having sons in soccer. Three of my four, in fact. They all play travel soccer, one is a starter on his varsity team. Needless to say we are huge fans, mostly of the EPL, but one son is a huge Barcelona fan. The other two are Man U and Chelsea fans. Me? I just love the sport and enjoy matches.
  4. Assuming you mean line to terminal tackle and not to a leader? Depending on what you're using, try snelling your hook.
  5. That sums it up perfectly. Quite disappointing for my youngest son
  6. Welcome aboard, Jake!
  7. Welcome aboard, Rich!
  8. That's a healthy catch! Congratulations!

  10. Welcome aboard!
  11. Nice work!
  12. On Lunkerville yesterday was a Native Mariner pedal-powered yak, as well. But those are now discontinued, I believe. The Slayer uses a newer pedal system than its brother yak, Mariner. More efficient. As a mechanical system, the leg-powered yaks from Native and Hobie have benefits and issues to be aware of. So do a good deal of research before you drop the cash. Also, there are some Hobie-sponsored yakkers on the forums that can answer some questions, don't think there are any Native sponsored folks. Bottom line, Google the topic, the pros/cons and form your own opinion.
  13. A very welcome laugh. Thank you, Sam!
  14. So. Does this mean double the bass beds during spawn? Sorry, bad joke... Serious issue, the chemicals we flush down the loo.
  15. Says the school teacher!! LOL No snow for the Tidewater area, please. I like my kids being in school, thank you very much!
  16. Wow, you guys are killin' it! Well done!
  17. Would have to be a 4" Senko, probably watermelon magic on a 1/0 Gammy splitshot/drop shot hook. That's today's "forever", LOL.
  18. Well gorged bass. Nice catches!
  19. I have the 6'3" LT and put my 2500 FJ on it and it balances perfectly. I normally prefer 1000 size, and have a 1000 FJ but the combo felt tip-heavy, as opposed to the 1000 FJ on my 6'6" Carbonlite which is tip-light. So if you want, or if you can, take your rod into a local BPS, Cabelas, etc., and put different reels on it to see how they balance out.
  20. Ditto. I've got Stradic FI, FJ reels and the FJ is so much smoother thanks to X-Ship. So these would be my recommendation to pair with your Legends. I've got one of my FJs on a Croix Legend Tourney Walleye rod and it is spectacular.
  21. Spot on. My primary spinning reels are 1000 Shimanos, too, and they skip perfectly fine.
  22. Welcome aboard, Damion!
