Thanks guys! Well I am thinking about starting my own online tackle business. Something I have always wanted to do. I know it takes a lot of work, and there are so many other companies out there already. But I figure if I do not try it now then I will never try. So that is why I am trying to figure out where to get all the products from. I contacted tackle warehouse. They said they get it direct from the tackle companies. So I have emailed a few companies already. Only heard back from shimano so far. They said they do not sell to online companies right now, they said you need a physical retail store. Which I will eventually do, but I figured I would just start off as a website first. Anybody with any other info would be great! thanks

I was just wondering where all the tackle stores like, bass pro, ***, tackledirect and so on....where do they get all there tackle from? Do they go directly to the companies or is there some kind of middle man? If there is a middle man, does anybody no who? Thanks

HI guys, quick question, I am looking to get a new trailer. I have a 2002 nitro 901 200hp 19'6". I have a single axle trailer now, I am looking to get a tandem axle trailer for the boat, and the newer style trailer. Contacted my local nitro dealer, they said it was not possible to do. Just wondering if anyone has done it before or if anyone knows where I could get one new or used. I have seen the same boat that I have, same year and everything with a tandem axle trailer. So I know they made them for the boat. Any help would be great, thank you! Doug

well for this one bass pro wants it back, and yes, most likely it got damaged in the shipping process. But after seeing a broken tip for the second time on the same rod, I think I might try a different rod for drop shotting. Probably will still stick with st croix for all my other rods!!

Hooligan- Yes it is the Mojo series. And I know they are great rods. I have 5 other mojo series rod and love them, never had a problem with them. And I guess that is why am so disappointed about this one. 2 of the same rods, broken in the same place, seems a little weird, but hey maybe it is just me. Repper- yes i can imagine how many people try to get free rods all the time. Which I am not trying to do, I was really just telling them so then maybe they can try to fix the problem. They are a great company and I love there rods, I guess just not that one...haha

Just wondering if any one else has had any problems with it. It is my second one, first one bought last year, used for about 4 weekends and the tip broke right off while setting the hook. Decided not to send it back and just fix the tip myself. Well this year I decided to buy another one, price just seems right. Got the package yesterday, no damage to the outside of the package, took the rod out and the tip was already broken in the same spot!! I was pretty ticked!!! Ordered it from bass pro on-line, they said send it back and they will refund me in full, which is great. So I email St. Croix, pretty much they told me I needed to upgrade to a different rod. I don't get it, isnt that want the rod is designed to do? As for that I will never buy another St Croix rod again and do not recommend the drop shot rod from them to anyone. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem, and if anyone has a good recommendation for a good drop shot rod? Thanks

I think it is a GREAT lure! Throw it when the sun is going down, take all the weights out, so the top is just coming out of the water, very slow crank, catch tons of fish, one of my favorite lures. Catch all different size bass, you would think the 1 to 2 pounders would not go after it but they love it! Good luck with it!!
