  2. SORRY THIA I DIDNT MEAN IT!!! ;D
  3. If you are fishing braid then get the stradic, or else the braid will dig into the plastic part that guides the line into the roller. (not to technical terms!) ;D
  4. grow up its just a reel.
  5. AKE MARINE!!! HARBOR TACKLE!!! SUNSET MARINA!!! Dont you DARE shop at all-Tackle! >
  6. No, I live in Pennsylvania in the fall/winter/spring. I only live in Maryland in the summer when my father is running his charter boat. He stays down some spring and fall, but comes home to us during most of "school season". But thanks for the offer. I'm really into the American made, durable reels. Its really a great story how they employed those people whose jobs were shipped to China! Thanks again for the generous offer.
  7. i was not defending it, i was simply asking if he ever owned one. sheesh. ive noticed alot of guys saying that ardent is bad just from reviews. and yes, i use only shimano and daiwa.
  8. have you ever used one? They didn't want dissatisfied customers showing up in person to make their complaints ;D
  9. Whick has the better under 100$ reel. I own all Shimanos and love them, but i recently bought a daiwa and its sweet! i want to know to buy a birthday gift for my sister that will last. i dont want to get her junk!
  10. thats pretty weird that you cant get them where theyre made. i would think that that would be one of the first places for ardent to sell them.
  11. most of the guys on these posts that actually use them like them.
  12. yeah i did ;D No. Avet is the best made in USA. A shame theat they dont make freshwater too You really missed my point.

  14. id watch it all the time! im dying of winter-not-fishing
  15. ardent should come out with a red white and blue reel
  16. theyre awesome
  17. Man do ardent reels sound nice!
  18. whats the deal with Lucky Craft? Are they really SO much better? ive fished with them, and besides being super detailed, which i dont think the fish see when the bait swims by through water, they dont seem that special. but then again i dont know that much about em.
  19. Also, the GM rod has at least a one year warranty. You'll be amazed how far you can cast light lures with 4lb line and a medium spinning reel. I agree with the one guy from In-fisherman - casting distance is more important than a perfectly balanced reel PS check out the website "Bluegill - Big Bluegill". It is the most imformative panfish website ever, with very helpful guys that got me into targeting big gills!
  20. Honestly, a Gander Mountain 6' ultralite. its only $30 and is great for bluegills and crappie. so many ultralite rods are either short 4'6'' or long 8' plus, and 6' is perfect for me. its held up to abuse and is actually REALLY sensitive compared to my st croix and shimanos. caught plenty of 10" plus gills on it!
  21. I thought the same thing when I read that review, thats why I said I didnt understand it correctly
  22. I like owner and gamakatsu, also like mustad ultra
  23. What is everyone's favorite hook company?
