  1. The fish are starting to move into the creeks. We were out for a few hours today, and saw a good bit of schooling fish chasing shad. We caught several small fish, and one 3 pounder.
  2. Bos'n, you have not missed the fall bite. I live on and fish Murray at least a couple times a week. You have not missed the fall bite here. In fact, I'd say it really hasn't started as yet. Our club fished 21 boats yesterday, the winning bag was 14, second 12, third 11. My partner and I finished 6th with 6lbs. Several boats did not weigh fish.
  3. Has anyone used the sonar school taught by Ken Sturdivant of Southern Fishing Schools on Lake Lanier? If so, please rate your experience. Bill
  4. What's working for you on Lake Murray in SC in the pre-spawn?
  5. Thank you 3dees. I will do that. Yours looks great. The EGA looks great there too. Bill
  6. Thank You all. A glove box, or a small cubby to stick small items was my first idea. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a radio or glove box small enough to fit.
  7. I removed the factory installed depth finder from the console of my Nitro 591 to install at Lowrance HDS7. I need to fill the vacant hole, and am looking for a source for a flat piece of white fiberglass to use as a blank off plate/cover. Can you anyone provide a recommendation. Thanks, Bill
  8. Thank you. Gene, I have been watching your videos the past few days and really appreciate the straight forward, simple approach you present. Bill
  9. I have a Lowrance HDS7 Gen 1 and am considering installing the structure scan add on. What has been your experience with structure scan? Is it worth the $600 investment?
  10. Interested in any and all tips for fishing lake murray sc.
  11. Hello, my name is Bill. My wife and I recently moved to Round Hill, Virginia from the Jackson, MS area. I've fished off and on all my life, but wouldn't consider myself an expert. I have a 19' Nitro 591. I'm poking around and trying to research decent fishing holes to hit in the spring. Thanks, Bill
