  1. Brad you are exactly right about PSBglue... You must be a chemist or an avid glue user. Many people don't read the directions on the back of the bottle of PSBglue because it would make their lives a lot easier using it. If one will read them and keep PRO's Soft~Bait Glue in a conditioned enviro like the gentleman does whom posted here prior said, his glue is still saving SENKOs, zooms and other baits since his purchase in Feb/o5 and will, through your fishing season. It states very clearly to NOT leave it on or in the boat (too hot for any glue or even expensive soft baits). The directions are below that are exactly what is on my bottles. re: Refrigeration extends shelf life. Store out of sunlight and heat. Storage in tackle boxes/bags reduces shelf life. Two other important things are, PSBGlue actually mends/repairs the baits while you're fishing and drys flexible and isn't like any other fishing adhesives. There isn't any smell after entering the water within 5 seconds also which is a big turn off to all fish. Just ask any Professional and avid fly fisherman that matches the hatch while fishing using PSBglue. The bites is immediate and they can't say that about any other product other than PSBG. Trout and other family species have a 10,000 times more sensor smell than any other fresh water species and some of these over the counter brands they've told me actually turn the fish away. Ex: Zap, Super glue, Krazy Glue, Bondini, locktite, durabond, testors and the list goes on and on... ;D Great Fishing! Stick-em PS if you have your receipt, send it back for a new bottle if unopened. The company is very honorable about this since they have a 1 year guarantee if you take care of it like stated on the directions.
  2. Papa tom, You can hold those plates together too without glue and apply it on the crack and it will wick in like solder to a copper fitting. One guy fixed his transducer bracket with it one day in NH two years ago and it's still there he said... Have a Great Day and weekend on the water and be safe.. Stick-em
  3. To anwer your question, late, yes PRO's Soft~Bait Glue will repair and hold your baits on your hooks and dry flexible and odorless unlike the over counter brands. It also has an average one year guarantee on the packaging and yes, it's pricey but how many senkos, ika's and the like you do some of you all buy each week or month? ;D It adds up quickly to when you're on fish and run out and go and buy more. Mending only takes a few seconds while fishing with the glue. After you rig, apply as rigged and it wicks into your plastics to bond with the hook. When changing baits, just gently work it with your finger nail and there won't be any glue there to worry about and just put on another bait. Not a commercial here but, you asked and I thought I'd reply. And, not all Cyanoacrylates are a like. The others that use it will fill you in on more uses too. Good Fishin! Stick-em
