A few years ago Had a guy walking by my house on his way to the pawn shop offer me some silver coins for $17.00 a piece (melt value )He told me his father recently died and his sister was taking everthing out of the house, he grabbed the coins before she could.
So I bought 10 silver eagles and 7 morgan dollars got them all for $160 and a half a pack of cigarettes.
Still have all the coins and that started me collecting
That is a cool thing to see,I'm not a Bruin fan but was rooting for an origianl 6 team to win it. Can't wait for hockey season to start and another orig 6 to win it again. GO HAWKS
If anybody finds a market for carp let the people on the Illinios river know.
Talk here of allowing the asain carp of being commerially fished and make premium cat food
I was going to mention crawdads too, took the kids fishing for bluegills and kept catching crawdads on the worm and also caught channels going after the crawdads
Not too long, maybe a couple of hours in the backyard throwing a practice plug. But I bought my first baitcaster back in the mid 90s( cheap Southbend combo) and could not figure it out so it sat im my garage for about 10yrs. before I decided to try it again( Thanks to Bass Resources) and Its members for all the tips. The one thing I can tell you is concentrate on every cast and soon it will become effortless
Have always done well with DEAD minnows fishing the Kankakee river, In a local park district pond here the stock channels and always catch em on a wad of night crawlers
Minnows under a slip float, Keep trying differnt depths if nothing move down the bank and repeat, Fall and spring, Dusk and Dawn are best/eaisest times of year to catch Crappie, But they have to eat all year,I beleive they are deep in hot summer weather.
