  1. It would be Falcon if it wasn't half inside Mehiko. Richmond Mill or Pickwick would be the next choice.
  2. Lol. funny slonezp. Congrats IBN! I can relate!
  3. Come to think of it Sam, you're right, I do kinda have this image in my head of the wise ol' talking crawdad when I read your posts! Lol.
  4. BassnBlvd fishing...
  5. My setup is the Avid AVC70MM with a Chronarch 50mg spooled with 12# yozuri hybrid. I asked this very question in a thread here a long time ago, and came to this conclusion. I havent been disappointed. AND... If you can get the Chronarch to Mike at Delaware Valley Tackle for a supertuning, you like it even better.
  6. you get to spend the night in his cage with him!
  7. (sniff) (sniff) (wiping tears) it's ok, I can take it.
  8. I'll start... I see Way2slow and Catt as wise old fishermen, been around a long time and enjoy sharing their knowledge. I see them as guys who would scowl at a wake rocking their boat made by a ski boat or jetskier getting too close. Guys that enjoy their families and have their priorities straight. What I didn't know about W2S is that he's apparently a gearhead who's likes to go really fast in his boat!
  9. After reading many posts I have developed a mental image of many of you members that I haven't met yet. But once in awhile someone posts something that blows that image right out of the water! This has inspired this thread... Question: What is the mental image of some of the members that you have been talking to on here but have never met.. Let's keep this fun. This is not a bash thread. No arguments please. Long Mike, RW, 00mod, FishinRhino, some of you others (you know who you are), you are exempt from the rules just because I enjoy reading the shots you all take at each other.
  10. I've probably read hundreds of your posts. At no time did I ever get an inkling that you were a gearhead speed nut! Just when ya think ya know somebody! Lol. You've inspired a new post idea!
  11. I've been putting off doing this for awhile now. I absolutely hate my current peel and stick numbers. I will probably do this after the Roadtrip. It looks great.
  12. I've been using this for years. It's the best I've ever found, and it's FREE! http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
  13. I think there were many times when I was getting back into bass fishing, when I had found the fish, dragged a jig through them, and had bites that I never knew about because I was trying to " feel" the bottom with the jig. I'd be trying to pull it over a perceived limb or rock and it was actually a pick up.
  14. I worked with a guy who had something called a "Jacobs ladder" piercings on the underside of his junk. I took his word for it. I needed no proof.
  15. Bummer Steezy! With any luck the Roadtrip will be at Falcon next year and I'll definitely see you there!
  16. Holy cow! You bear a striking resemblance to one of our moderators named Roadwarrior. I think he's from the Germantown, TN area also! I'm starting to think that everyone from Germantown looks the same!
  17. Bravo Glenn! Stiller, thanks for the laughs! I'm watching you Gaylord Focker! "What? You don't like me. I don't like your little red outfit. It makes you look like a little demon baby. Maybe I'll get you a little pitchfork for Christmas, so we can put you on a can of Underwood ham. I'm sorry I can't make little poop sounds and I can't make little things that tell people when I want to do things. But I have a sign for you."
  18. That's quite a ride Tom! Knowing you, you made the deal of the century for her just like you did with your last boat (or should I say "your EX")! Can't wait to check her out in a couple weeks. Whaddya say we spend a day together on the water this trip?
  19. I usually use a quick clip snap unless the water is gin clear and the fish care about what the bait looks like, then I tie direct. I've also tied direct in really cold water to get a tighter wobble.
  20. No suit. Got some underwear though! Does that count?
  21. Faster tip. I use mostly xf rods for soft plastics. I like the fast tip to pop the hook in when I feel a bite. My favorite is a St. Croix TBS610MXF. I use it for soft plastics and shakey heads.
  22. Send that sucker to mike at Delaware Valley Tackle. He's a board sponsor here and he does great work. He's your guy.
  23. Dobyn's and St Croix. Only used St. Croix's service and it was excellent. Love my Dobyn's rods.
  24. Keepin y'all in our prayers!
