  1. Don't worry Raiders fans... there is always Jamarcus Russell !
  2. I've hit shots into railroad ties for the rebound towards the green before, but never used a tree! Pete Dye is famous for using those ties in his course designs. They can be confounding when you find yourself up against one.

You guys are scaring me. I think I need a new hobby! BOAT FOR SALE! CHEAP!
  4. Looks like it might not have been a new thing for him.
  5. Who is Justin Beaver?
  6. Besides the cool look, the reason I installed them was because my post type bow nav lights are not tall enough to be seen over my Terrova. One of my good buddies is the county DNR officer. He thinks they are cool and said he would not bother anyone running them. The reason for the legal issue is the viewing angles stipulated by the coast guard. Depending on the boat, they can be installed so they can be viewed from the same angles. My boat falls into that category.
  7. That's odd. They're right side up on my screen!
  8. I've been using these jigs for two years now. Top notch stuff. What did you expect from a BassResource sponsor?
  9. I just finished installing my new Bluewater LED navigation lights. The installation was a breeze and I am quite pleased with the results. I thought it would be tough installing them in the rub rail but the only thing that was a little bit of a challenge was terminating the rope properly to make a clean install. Some guys have used heat shrink for this but my heat shrink was too thick for this application. I ended up melting the ends together for a cleaner install. Some pics... Finished install...
  10. They were kept and dissected.
  11. Couple pics...
  12. One thing I learned from Doug Vahrenberg is using switchfire Max Mode for identifying the bigger fish in a school. The air bladder shows up more in a bigger fish in Max Mode.
  13. Agreed. I'm pretty sure he weighed the risk and was pretty confident he could pull off the shot. Guys at the that level always weigh the risk and riskier options. Had he failed we would be talking about what a dumb idea it was to hit that shot. I used to practice that shot (on the ground of course). I called it the "left-handed Louie". It is very useful when you can't take a proper stance.
  14. You want to install the si transducer in a place that will have NO turbulence or air bubbles. You are looking for "clean water" or laminar flow off the rear of your boat. Air bubbles are your enemy here. The best place IMO is the clear spot to the right or left of the drain plug and livewell drain, like right under the speed sensor. Actually I think your existing transducer is not ideally located, as well as your speed sensor. The water is not flowing properly there to get an accurate reading. It should be mounted so that the entire bottom of the TD is constantly under water and OUT of any turbulence. About half of the thickness of the transducer should hang below the bottom of the boat. The transducer mount is designed to be a break away mount in case you hit something. I'll try to post some pics of my install tonite if I get a chance.
  15. I've seen some that look like that too. They were full of discarded soft plastics and couldn't digest food anymore.
  16. Sadly, I too must bow out this year. My issue isn't fiscal in nature, it's family. I had to step in and volunteer to coach my #2 daughter's soccer team because the league is short on coaches and she would not have been able to play if I didn't volunteer. On top of that I have already volunteered as an assistant baseball coach for my son's team. See where this is going? That's only HALF of my kids! My wife agreed to go to Branson this year instead of California on vacation. That means only one thing for me... TABLE ROCK. I know it won't make up for missing the fun with all you ornery cusses, I just hope it makes it a little less painful. I'm already buttering up my wife for next year! I haven't forgot about you Jeff...I still owe you a boat ride. Yall take LOTS of pics and videos!!
  17. That was an all-timer there. The best part for me was the execution. The ball ended up in the fairway! That is rule #1 when playing a shot from trouble. Get out of trouble with your next shot.
  18. Prayers sent. You should take him fishing more often. It relieves stress. :Idea3:
  19. I lived once. I'm married now.
  20. St. Louis just bagged me. I had them going deep. I'll be lucky to get in the money now. There are 385 people in my pool.
  21. Guess what we're having for Easter Sunday lunch next weekend?? GROUNDHOG! Puxatawney Phil is no more!! Stinkin' varmint! Last year we had FIVE eighty degree days by this time!!
  22. I'm 20-7 so far in the completed games. All the teams I picked for the elite eight are still in except New Mexico and Georgetown. I can still win this thing! If I do it will add $2000 to my bait monkey account!! GO ZAGS!
