  1. This well be my first purchase of a G.LOOMIS. And im wondering if they are truly as sensitive as everyone says. I well be using the rod as my jig rod i am currently using a crucial 7ft mh a cumara 6'9m and a carrot stick 7ft mh. I mostly use finesse style jigs weighting 1/4 to 3/8s and sometimes 1/2oz with light to moderate cover. The rods i am looking at our as follows: MBR783C (GL3) 6'6" 3 1 10-17 1/4-3/4 Fast Med-Heavy $215.00 MBR783C (GL2) 6'6" 3 1 10-17 1/4-3/4 Fast Med-Heavy $160.00 MBR843C (GL3) 7' 4 1 10-17 1/4-3/4 Fast Med-Heavy $230.00 MBR844C (GL3) 7' 4 1 12-20 1/4-1 Fast Heavy $235.00 MBR845C (GL3) 7' 4 1 12-25 3/8-1 1/4 Fast Heavy $245.00 I am looking for the one that would best fit as an all around jig rod that if needed kould be used for as maybe an all purpose rod thank you so much guys.

  5. bass fishing is almoat worse then heron i spend 600 hundred on a combo and when i get it i fish it and then its like wow omg if ths is so nice i wonder what somthing more exspensive would be like it just cant pull the trigger on gloomis yet but i might have to since the promblems in my hands and back is getting worse
  6. it might be some big panfish i have had days were my senko color would just get attacked by bluegills or they would chase a jig ive been tolld that id the panfish are hitting it then ur diffinitly using the right color try tying a very short leader with a size one or a trailer hook and hook it to the tail and u well find out. or the bass is telling you to slow down your presentation.

  10. After reading reds post it made me intersted in the lamiglas series .I would be looking at the 7'3ft mh casting rod for throwing jigs and texas rigs. I am wondering on the sensitivity i have some high end rods such as the shimano crucial and a few carrot stixs and a cumara. So I guess what I am asking is how does the sensitivity compare to any of those rods i understand this is only a 109.00 dollar rod but still would like a sensitive rod.
  11. Wow thank you ao much guys that helped so much.So neither one is heavier then 5/8ths so if a rod was listed for 5/8ths and above then the sloest one to that would be the 7/16ths. Thank you so much guys im glad im not the only late night bass addict

  14. This may sound stupid.Because i dont quite know how to word this but do 5/16 and 7/16 translate into like 3/8ths or 5/8ths or any of the average weights we throw. And if not do any of those weigh more then 5/8ths. I hope somebody can help me. Tight lines
  15. thank you this i thinnk is very useful i actually find nightfishing to help all techniques it forces u to really focus pay attention and builds confedince in your equpiment i love fishing a jig at night beccause it forces me to truly focus on what i think its doing lol

  19. Power pro 30lb or higher on the jig rod and I use a 17lb flourocarbon leader probably just have like 6 rowsw if u know like keep reeling until the spool guide thing goesd back to the one side or just do it 4 times just depends on cover and everything but that's what I do and that way u don't have a 4 foot leadr and have to tie new one on at the end of the day because of breaks or reties just ihmo
  20. I'm kind of confused on what your saying but what i was taught was you chose your line to the cover and overall size of the fish and what techniques u well be using it for. ANd if your using braid u can get a very high pound test line with a very small mono equilvent i think a good overall choice would be 30 or 20 pound braid.
  21. hey from manassas a good place to go with a conoe is lake brittle u might have look from a canoe

Thank you guys and yes i find that its weird i even sent them back to daiwa to get fixed and they came back the exact same so i left daiwa alone. But i love the way daiwas look but look isnt everything so i think ill get the advantage im going to match it to a powel 733xf but might get the sol instead of the rod.Thank you guys
