im fishing a deep, clear, rocky lake. you can see 15-20 feet down.
ive caught several fish carolina rigging. but i was hoping to try some different stuff to catch more. so far ive done well on 4" lizards
there are spots, LM, and SM. water temp is right around low 80s
during the day when dealing with post front confitions - i do well on dropshots and slowly dragged c-rigs. and even senkos...
but at night im clueless. i feel like it would be hard for the bass to find a 3" lure in 20 feet of water.
what locations and lures do you all lean on when night fishing after a front????????????
hey guys, im going to the ohio river ina couple weeks to fish with my son. we will be fishing around the racine and belleville area. any tips on whaty to throw, where to go, or anything else would be appreciate. weve never been before. thanks for the help!
what do you guys recommend for a good pitchin reel. id like to keep it under 200 if possible.
i was looking at the revo sx. what do you think? any other recommendations?
i know crankbait all have different wobbles....
but what ones are best for water less than 50 degrees? most of the ones i have are: shad raps, strike kind XDs, bandits, norman dds, bombers...
i dont know. im over whelmed. but could anyone break down what ones are best in colder water (less than 50)
thanks!!!!!!
just moved recently and there a small lake within an hours drive of the house. its a lowland res. talked to a dnr officer today and he said the lake is full of spotted badd with a few lm's mixed in.
anyways, ive been skunked the 2 times ive been there. water temp is between 45-50. and is a little cloudy but not muddy. ive not fished for spots much. so my question is, where should i start? do they behave much different? just curious on some locations / baits to try.
thanks guys
i made a lable and put it right over the top of my depth finder that says "Slow your roll, son" dad use to tell me that when id get nervous before sporting events growing up.... sounds stupid, but it helps me haha
ive saw pictures or snow and all kinds of bad weather. just curious if anyone know the approx water temps these guys are fishing? just curious what they have to deal with
do you guys have any luck with the rapala shad raps? if so, how do you fish them? and when?
kind of looks more like a jerk bait... but i could also see just cranking it..... but anyways, i'll shut up and listen/learn. thanks guys!
a have several of these, but no i hvae never used them and know nothing about them. are they any good? when/where/how do you like to use them.
thanks! any help is appreciated.
so a good friend who gave up fishing gave me some old tackle, in it i found some of the following... lucky craft bevy shad SP (see attached) yo zuri hardcore SH 60-SP (see attached) are these any good and when/where would you use them?
any one have any idea when these are coming out?
or maybe know another deeper diving lure with a small profile. kind of looking for something similar to the strike king 3xd
just found some on sale and bought several of them. i got american shad, ghost, rainbow trout, black/gold, rootbeer/white, perch, and misty shad. but my questions are when are good times and locations to use these? ive never thrown jerkbaits much but im really wanting to learn.
