i dont really feel bad for skeet.... professional bass fishing is now like every other sport; it has a post season. teams, or in this case, fishermen, have to be playing their best when it counts..... KVD did that. hes the best, period. i honestly feel lucky to be around to watch his dominance
while watching the elite series the other day, i saw russ lane pitching a jig with a brush hog as a trailer. anyone ever do this? where do you use it? do you fish it like any other jig?
1. Load Boat
2. Stop at Tutors Biscuit World
3. Arrive at Lake around 6am
4. Fish
5. Load up boat and leave around noon
6. Stop at McDonalds
7. Unload boat

i know the topwater bite is fun, but if you are in a tournament, do you fish the top water bite? in my mind top water bites occur less often and have a lower landing percentage.... what are your thoughts?

im looking at buying my first bass boat. Many that im looking at say they have a rebuilt motor. Do you guys try to stay away from these or are they usually fixed after they are rebuilt?
Im looking at a Nitro NX 882. Its a 2002. Has a mercury 150 on it. seems like its in good condition. He is asking 9000 for it. Do you guys think this is a fair price??? This will be my first fiberglass boat, so i really dont know too much about them. thanks for the help....
the grass isnt really thick on the surface, so punching isnt an issue..... its like the grass is really thick on the bottom and the grass is also pretty patchy...
i went out a few days ago and found a grassy flat that was between 5-8 ft..... there were bass chasing minnows around so i tried a fluke and managed to catch 3..... any other ideas on what to throw? i tried a spinner and some xraps, but its too grassy and i kept getting crap on my hooks..... thanks for the help
I just baught some zoom flukes in baby bass. I've never used a fluke before so i was wondering what type of hook to use. Also, how/when/and what situation you use them. thanks guys!
