Me an the wife ventured to the Hammond Indiana Cabelas today. I wasnt planning on purchasing much. I was investigating a sale shelf and noticed Shadlicious 5.5" swimbaits on sale for $1.88 (normally $7.99). I asked a sales man if this was legitimate, or some mistake. He scanned and said it was $1.88 a pack, needless to say I purchased 17 packs. The only colors they had were green shad and that lavendar sexy shad. I kill them on the green shad, so i was a happy happy camper. So if you're in the Hammond Indiana area and love Shadalicious swimbaits, i suggest you stop in and grab them before theyre gone.

The MGX, no question about it. There is a review of the EXO on here and it sounds like a disaster. I love Abus though, so im biased. If someone gave me the choice of having ANY reel i wanted, Id take the MGX.

Make sure you get those rounds that are made for zombies if you plan on shooting them. A normal round wont kill a zombie.

My brother in law owns a Rock River Arms and its a great gun. He uses it for coyotes. Personally, I would buy an AK 47 an get a side mount and put a scope on top and put a tri pod up front. A lot cheaper to buy, cheaper to shoot, an more knock down power. Dont listen to the accuracy stuff, i shoot groups just as good as my brother in law with his AR from 500 yards.

I was in the same boat as you as far as hating every fluoro i tried. I recently spooled up some Sufix Invisline castable fluoro, I LOVE IT.

I have tried a lot of fluoros and hated everyone of them. I recently purchased Sufix Invisline fluoro and spooled it on my Orra SX spinning reel. Here in Illinois the weather has been low 50s- high 40s. So today i went out to the local river to do some casting and test out the jigs i have tied this winter. This fluoro is by far the best i have used. Casted like a charm and had no problems. As with most fluoros, i was worried about knot strength. I had a snag and it took A LOT for me to break 8lb test. I am going to purchase a spool of 14 lb test to put on one of my Revos. Thanks Sufix

I love hack attack jigs. I have never punched mats with it. I usually swim it through grass. It was a huge producer for me last year.

I tried last night to put on a thin coat. I got a dull powdery look before i baked. After i baked, it looked great and didnt run. I just hope i can be consistent.

Just a 2 part epoxy you can get at any store? Or is there a certain brand?

I just purchased my first one the other day. I got a spinning rod, i have yet to use it, but in my yard, i can detect every little flaw in my lawn. Once the ice gets off the lakes, ill give it a workout.

I have dipped a few heads so far. I put them in the oven and they look great, but when i take them out, the paint runs and has a point at the end of the head. I hang them on the U part of the hook. How do i cure this problem? Question number 2. I have yet to put in any weedguards. Do i do this before or after i dip? Will fly head cement work to keep the guards in place, or do i use something else?

i started off tying hair jigs and flies, now im tying rubber skirted jigs using wire. Its very very very addicting.

I have been fishing a small river for smallies for about 20 years. If you gave me one bait to use, id pick a grub, hands down. Everyone already gave you great smallie baits. A Yum Crawbug and baby Rage craw are smallie magnets.

Im going to take a wild guess and say that you like to crankbait.

I use a 7' medium Duckett micro magic, im happy with it. This rod does other things for me, but when i drop shot, its always on this rod. Its light, sensitive, and has a fast tip.

I also use TV wipes. I have used KVD L & L conditioner before, and that works just as well. I just dont want to waste that glorious stuff. Save that for my line.

I got into it late last season, so I didnt have a huge amount of time with it. But i found the Roboworm to be hands down the best. Had luck with a Zoom trick worm and a Gulp! leech. Next season im gonna try a Zoom lizard and a LFT magic shad. I would start with a Roboworm though, thats what most people told me to use, and it was great advice.

i have had horrible experiences with Stren and Trilene mono. I use 6 lb mono on my panfish setups, and trilene and stren just breaks everytime i tie a knot. I switched over to Sufix elite, and have never looked back. All my reels have either Sufix Elite or Sufix ProMix, except for 2 rods with Power Pro. I can honestly say i have never had a break off while fighting a bass since iv switched to Sufix.

Im a huge Bulls fan and us Bulls fans love D Rose. He plays the game the right way and carries himself the way a young man should carry himself. When its all said and done he will be loved like Jordan and Walter when hes done, and may even surpass them. Derrick just signed his 5 year 94.8 million dollar contract and he said "ill be able to afford what i want. But not too many things excite me except winning and being around my family." Lebron could win 20 championships with the Heat and they will never get my respect. The Heat will win a championship or 2 or 6, and all those bandwagon Heat fans can all celebrate. But ill be happier than them knowing my team worked hard as a team, did everything they could to try to win, and did it with respect and loyalty.

My dad has 3 old Ruger 6 shooter revolvers that i grew up shooting. I love those things and the Ruger Mark 3. I recently purchased a S & W 22a and love that one also.
