  1. Looking good. Bass tackle HDX craw?
  2. The tips are just orange colorant with orange glitter. Pour the whole bait, then cut the claws off. Then mix up green pumpkin, place the orange tips in the mold and shoot the green pumpkin.
  3. it is a mold I got from bobs in a 4 pack he was selling on ebay. It's not on his sight, so I have no idea. But he had 4 molds for sale, I wanted the ring worm and this craw. So I paid like $100 for the 4 molds, sold the 2 I didn't want for $70 total. So basically paid $30 for this mold and the ring worm I wanted. I got some killer deals on ebay.
  4. I just pack the boat with the plastics I know I'll fish. But some are stored in the planos on that carrier. Going into a tourney, I have an idea what plastics I'm going to use, so I won't have thousands of plastics throughout my boat
  5. 4 inch finesse worm on a Carolina rig with a 1/16th ounce weight.
  6. This jig and trailer right here. No doubt.
  7. The d**n boat monkey got me, but it also cut into the funds the bait monkey recieves. So it all evens out
  8. I have 2 of those BASS Pro tote bags that carry Planos. No zipper or anything, just handles. My boat is always garage kept, but this helps me keep everything organized. I have all the Planos labeled, so it's quick an easy access. That's the best solution I have come up with to quickly remove tackle, but also have quick an easy access to my baits during a tournament
  9. Trokar is my favorite straight shank flipping hook, gammy is my favorite EWG hook and favorite wacky worm hook, Owner is my favorite swim bait hook, and VMC is my favorite drop shot hook.
  10. From what you described, if I went there tomorrow morning to fish I'd have the following rigged up. Black/blue jig with blue sapphire trailer, a shakey head with a green pumpkin with chart tip tail, black/blue rage lobster, black/blue swim jig with sapphire blue Rage menace, and a chartreuse spinner bait with a gold Colorado blade. Also, do t overlook a single tail grub. It doesn't seem too many guys fish them much anymore, but they still catch fish.
  11. My last bass of 2015. I caught this last week and decided I would put the gear away for the winter
  12. I have a hard time explaining to people how I can detect a jig bite. I fish a jig A LOT. I have so many different feeling bites. My best advice is I always stay in contact with the line. If I feel anything different at all through the cast, I will reel in my slack until I feel resistence, if there is any resistence other than the jig, I will set the hook. I think the best thing is time on the water with a jig. It's just too many factors in the bite such as water temp, vegetation, rock, wood etc. Good luck and tight lines
  13. The fish under my sign in name is the fish actually
  14. It's hard to see in the pic, but this jig an craw were made to resemble a craw I found in a local lake. The underside of the trailer is orange, and within the first 5 minutes of me throwing it, I landed a 5.5 lber.
  15. Personal use, I sell some to a few guys in my bass club and give them to friends and what not. It's just a fun little winter hobby.
  16. Also have a speed worm type craw that I just got last month, it's produced some fish in its minimal use
  17. Yep, 702 craw. It's a fish catcher, that's for sure. I choose it over the Rage craw more and more.
  18. Rage tail menace is an awesome swim jig trailer as well.
  19. It still performs great, but that noise can get quite annoying. I'll try some oil. Thanks
  20. Also, my Shimano junk didn't have instructions in the box upon purchasing.
  21. Yeah, screaming from the brakes. I have never had a reel do this. It only took 2 replies for a Shimano fanboy to come out, lol. Relax, I was just poking some fun.
  22. I wore them out this fall on this craw I made this summer, it's also been a killer jig trailer.
  23. 2014 Skeeter TZX 195. Traded my Ranger in on it last year. I always been a Ranger guy, but the Skeeter ride was so much better, I couldn't ignore it.
  24. This past spring I purchased a new Curado. I was really impressed with it for the first couple outings, then all of a sudden it started making a horrible noise on the cast, seemed like it happened when the brakes kicked in at the end of the cast. The weird thing is, it happens on and off, but happens more than not. I even took it apart and super tuned it and it didn't fix it. Is this fixable or is it just typical Shimano junk?
