  1. Doesn't Bass Tackle have a laminate plate for that mold?
  2. Nice, I love the S Waver
  3. Sweet craw with homemade 702 craw, and sweet craw with homemade custom craw.
  4. Get yourself some Gambler Big EZ and EZ swimmers. My favorite colors are Copperfield, lane toad, and Florida five 0. Work them weightless across the top of vegetation and around lay downs.
  5. Nice collection. I fell into a great deal on a S Waver for $1. That single bait started it all for me. Now I have a good collection. One day i was on a private lake and there was a small little front moving it. It went from blue bird sky to dark and steady rain. I worked a S Waver over submerged vegetation and just hammered them, best 5 went around 17 lbs. Without a doubt the funnest 1 an a half stretch of fishing iv had.
  6. 2014 TZX195 with a 175 HPDI. It porpoised quite a bit before I learned how to drive it and got the jack plate in the right height. Now it doesn't do it. It rides like a dream compared to some boats iv ridden in, especially for a 19 1/2 foot boat. My only gripe is the livewells are a tad small. But brand new with TTL, out the door, I got it for under 36 grand, and that was before trade in of the Ranger. And the new ones have air flow through storage compartments and Lowrance HDs at bow and console, with a SHO and for under 40 grand with a 175 SHO.
  7. All good choices, I also suggest Skeeter. I was in the market for a new boat and shopped around. I was dead set on a new ranger, but then I decided to look at Skeeters. It was a done deal after that. I couldn't find a better bang for buck out there. Good luck.
  8. Sweet craw skirt from siebert with a grass jig head from Siebert with a homemade 702 craw.
  9. I also use an O ring, I can catch countless fish on it and it never gets torn up. Just teeth marks and beat up a little, but it never gets thrown off the line cut in half.
  10. I'm gonna try it for the first time next season. What's the best way to work it?
  11. Anyone on here tie tinsel in their jigs like the old Monsoor swim jigs? I'd like to try a brown flashy tinsel on my green pumpkin brown jigs. If anyone can post pictures of theirs, it'd be appreciated.
  12. These are the boat jigs that always make the tourney or trip or day on the water. I have a few boxes with extra jigs that I'll use to replenish this one as needed. Most are homemade, others are Hack Attacks. The color I have the most of and use the most is Seiberts Sweet Craw skirt.
  13. The Ned rig. I had a few tourney back boaters who caught fish on it, but didn't take the plunge. I grabbed everything during the black Friday sales.
  14. In clear water I like a more brown tint in a green pumpkin with copper flake
  15. Awesome baits
  16. You can get a brand new decked out 19 foot Skeeter for under that price tag of the used ranger. Power poles, electronics, brand new, full warranty etc.
  17. Try hatchet blades for something a little different.
  18. I'd switch to a weightless gambler big ez. Try and burn it on top. If it won't stay on top due to wind and waves. Work it sub surface. My favorite colors are Florida five 0 and copperfielf
  19. Kistler magnesium extra heavy. I got mine at TW on sale for around $115
  20. Glad I made the switch from ranger to skeeter. Ranger priced themselves out if the running when I was boat shopping. Between basscat, ranger, skeeter, and nitro. It was skeeter that got my business. Good bang for buck, rode better than the other 3 (wasn't even close), and came with a Yamaha. The fit an finish of the ranger was almost flawless, but for a smaller boat and motor I would have been paying several thousand more than for the bigger more powerful skeeter. I would have liked to have tried out a phoenix or legend, but nowhere near me sells them.
  21. When the water gets cold, I like to switch to a big mop jig with a subtle trailer. Also, some of my better days are with a buckeye under spin with a keitech swimbait. If all else fails, can't go wrong with a wacky worm and a Ned rig.
  22. It's a good bait. I can tell you one thing, it is a pike magnet. I have caught twice as many pike on it as bass, that's for sure. Other than a moreau mouse, this bait gets the most violent strikes for me. I love fishing it in scattered pads and vegetation.
  23. I stocked up on Reins tungstens, gambler big ezs and why nots. The new savage gear glide bait, a Kistler magnesium, an 6th sense punch stops. I stocked up on the essentials, and couldn't pass up a Kistler magnesium or the glide bait
  24. Jig, pop r, t rig rage craw or baby rage craw is what I'd start with. I like to start with bigger jigs, then if I'm not getting bit, I'll switch to a small finesse jig with a baby rage craw or 702 craw
  25. I have caught my fair share of bass on it, but it is a pike MAGNET
