  1. I like the keitechs an shadalicious for soft baits. Don't hesitate to try glide baits. River2Sea S waver and the Savage Shine Glide get have shined for me
  2. I got green shad because they were under $2, no way I'm paying full price for them
  3. Looks good
  4. I never thought of wacky, that's a good idea. Thanks
  5. I grabbed some Clone Frys from the TW sale, I have never used them before. Just looking for some feedback from guys who use them. I was thinking it'd be awesome on a Owner JigRig. Any feedback would be appreciated
  6. I like Megastrike, especially when I'm punching. It adds a little lubrication to help it slide through mats.
  7. I received some in a MTB box once. I tried them several times without success. Then one day the bite was dead, I rigged it on a 1/4 jig head and started smashing them. Haven't done any good on them since.
  8. What's the favorite color? Try Sweet Craw, it's a fish catcher
  9. I have had most success with them as a jig trailer
  10. I saw a Verado 300 on a new ranger this past summer at a tourney, it was extremely quiet. Even quieter than the SHO. I'm sure it had to do with driver and hull design, but he was getting passed by 250s and even a phoenix with a 225. Looked bad ass though
  11. Seaguar day 1 (red label jumbo spool) Gambler day (7 packs of Why Nots and Crickets)
  12. River2sea S waver 168s in rainbow trout is my best producer. Although I got it late in the season, the Savage Shiner glide 3d caught good fish good fish in minimal use.
  13. Copperfield and Florida five O are must haves for me. I also like lane toad and new shad.
  14. I get all my heads from Siebert.
  15. I did what bluebasser did. Works well
  16. I just order plastic hubs and then wire tie a skirt on them. Nice and cheap.
  17. Also hard to beat a Hudd 68 as well
  18. Keitech, shadalicious and my favorite is a Gambler Big Ez. Rig the Big Ez weightless and buzz it across the top and hold on.
  19. Alabama craw, green pumpkin, PB&J, and falcon craw are my most successful on brown jigs
  20. Sweet craw
  21. I'm in the same boat as the OP. I have never caught a fish on it. It got to the point where I gave them all away or sold them. I bought a mold set this past year that had a pit boss mold. I made myself a bunch in certain colors that always crush them on a private pond. These fish rarely see baits. I used it for 2 hours without a bite, 2nd cast with a 702 craw, fish. I actually just put the mold on ebay last night. No idea why I couldn't catch fish on it.
  22. For bass, i use 50 lb braid, except my punching rod has 65 lb braid. I can't imagine 50 wouldn't be good enough. I have landed some good size teethy critters in the past few years, and several came on 10 lb mono. So I can't imagine 50 lb braid wouldn't do the trick
