I recently was looking for a 7' med action and looked at the micro veritas rage and ducket I'm a st croix guy have 3 of the ltb's and love them. The rage just felt unbalanced to me and didn't care for the grip much. the veritas and ducket felt very similar but they only had the veritas in a medhvy at the bps so I went with the ducket only used it a little but I think I'm going to like it
I'm needing to replace the grease seals on my 2001 ez loader triton boat trailer all I can find are 1.68'' id and 2.55 od I measured my old seals and the id is right but the od measures 2.388'' will these work also the wear sleeve that I measured 1.62 id and 1.696'' od the closest thing I can find is 1.70 id and 1.72 od
I have a buddy who has one and really likes it but like most it is a little to whippy for my taste. I bought on of st croix's mojo glass cranking rods and like it better still plenty of give but not so whippy
I have all 3 versions and love them all they work every bit as good now after 3 seasons as they did the day I got them the narrow spool does handle lighter baits better than the wide spool and you can tell a difference in weight between the xt and the other 2
I am in the market for a new pair of glasses have it narrowed down to oakley flak jackets with the shallow blue lens or costas probably the fathoms on the costas is the difference between the 400 and 580 series lens worth the extra money
I just keep 3 or 4 pairs of cheap old brown jersey gloves with the thumb cut off when a pair gets wet just throw another pair on. I've tried a few pair of neoprene gloves but my hands get colder with them than if I wasn't wearing any
the way it was explained to me was that the 10" set back was to much to lift the rear of the boat out of the water kind of like trying to hold a bowling ball close to you or holding it at arms length
it currently has a 10" plate I am not getting the speed I should be I've talked to mymechanic a couple triton dealerships and directly to triton they all said a 6" plate was what I needed and they had never heard of anyone running a 10" plate on that boat
I have a 2001 triton tr20 with a merc 200 efi and am needing a new jackplate was looking at the 5 1/2" CMC PL65 what are yall's opinion on this jackplate
was at a fishing show this spring david fritts was speaking about crankbaits and the reel he was demostrating with and said it was his favorite crankbait setup was a old model lews speedspool
25# is a lot heavier than i've ever used I normally use 15# and nothing over 17# but 1 thing that seems to help if you can before you go fishing is hook your line on something and walk back and pull what line you think you will cast and just pull the line tight to stretch the memory out and spray a little kvd on it as you reel back up
I have a triton tr20 with a 200 merc efi was wondering how high the motor should be able to trim when on plane mine will only trim up to just below the half way marke on the trim guage I was told I should be getting a rooster tale about even with the top of the motor but i'm not getting even a sign of one even with the jack plate allthe way up
