  1. Great stuff. Wouldn't expect any less from you though What's the advantage to circuit board lips? I never really found a good answer to that question...
  2. "You....are..... OUUUTAAAAA HERE!"
  3. A Senko thread? Come on there isn't enough information on the Senko here!
  4. Ouch, someone is starting to use their powers for evil Another issue I have is the tubes I use have a solid head and the tube hooks don't sit in their properly.
  5. I use them as jerkbaits in spring, fall and winter but I crank them any other time of the year. Smaller ones (3 to 4 inches) make great finesse cranks A good rule to follow, the colder the water, the longer you pause between jerks. I have gone 30+ seconds in between jerks in mid winter.
  6. I toss all my tubes either texas rigged or on a weighted swimbait hook. I have used tube hooks before, but I can't find a hook that leaves enough exposed for my tastes. You know what's a pretty neat trick with a tube? Rig it weightless and backwards. The sink much slower that way and is a great finesse technique.
  7. Spot on with those colors. I'd say you did a fantastic job
  8. +2... I got stuck more than I caught anything with those hooks. I wouldn't recommend them unless you're fishing cover-less waters... Actually, I think I lost more lure with Sure Set hooks than I caught fish
  9. I love to teach people new things, so I'd love to become a guide or something similar. Maybe even some kind of instructor. I just want to learn as much as possible and give my knowledge back to as many people as I can reach... Sappy I know, but it's true
  10. Kind of off topic but what size are you using for Pike? XR12?
  11. I try and do something like this everyday. I have a rule while driving, I will let someone go before me every chance I get... I cannot stand trying to merge into traffic or make a turn! Always hold the door for people, that's just a given... I'm constantly giving older people cell phone help at work. You'd be amazed at how much people appreciate just learning simple things like adding a phone contact. Always go the extra mile! I think we should keep this thread going, no need to give us anything
  12. You should have seen the big old swim Speed was throwing at Raystown... It looked like he was heaving a yellow fin tuna He's right though, you can't just go tossing random fish and expect it to be productive. Personally, I like the soft swimbaits more, but both will produce some nice fish!
  13. Yeah yeah, Your mustache gets the final say!
  14. Cool, your work is always an inspiration, so keep it up!
  15. Nice work! What is the size of that screw eye in the one pic? That should never pull out LOL
  16. Hockey - Hershey Bears!
  17. Weighted swimbaits hooks are a great way to rig the baby craw. Especially in the fall, the smallmouth love the horizontal fall you get with this set up! Another technique to try is put a 'sluggo' hook on them (straight shanked offset hook) and use them as a finesse topwater bait.
  18. Welcome!
  19. Great shots everyone. I love the out to sea ones Rhino, very nostalgic! State of Vermont Monument 2 by nate.follmer, on Flickr
  20. Oh good, you're still here.... I cried myself to sleep a few nights because I thought you abandoned us...
  21. Robby, They have them under two categories, Muskie and Tiger Muskie... I'm assuming the Muskie can breed and the Tigers cannot... They dropped 1,000 to 2,000 in the Juniata near Raystown and usually only 200 in the other areas. Well that kind of kills all the negative effects people think the muskie have... The smallies are in better shape in the areas that received more muskie!
  22. Great now I can't make fun of him... Ha no I'll still make fun of you! Congrats J!
  23. Good stuff here guys, thanks for keeping it civil I've heard a mixed bag about this but what impact do you think muskie stocking has on bass populations? They stock a lot of muskie in both of these rivers. I can't see it having that big of an impact but some people claim it does.
  24. No, I'm suffering from 'working with idiots syndrome' and it's turning my brain to mush (not you guys, my day job people I work with). HA They make a lot of ID-10T errors...
  25. Oops, sorry I see its a " not a ' now HA. Ignore me, I'm having an off day
