  1. Yeah, Side Imaging wins! Sexy Shad was a great suggestion too, I think just about everyone has a form of that color now. Plain and simple, it works, I have caught more fish on that color than any other. If I had to add one thing to this list - Beaver style baits. I know some have been around longer than 5 years, but they have really exploded and are getting better.
  2. Doesn't work on my phone (It loads, but I can't scroll the map or anything). But, I'll just shoot photos with GPS data embedded and add them later.

  8. Props for drinking the PA swill!!! I love ABC. There is one near me with a restaurant attached to it. Every Thursday, we make our way over there. They have something called the Mug Club that we all joined about 5 years ago. They keep a personalized mug in the bar for you. In 5 years time, I have tried all their offerings. Personal favorites (I dont know how readily available they are away from our immediate area): Grinnin' Grizzly (November Specialty) Kipona Fest (August Specialty) Riverside Red (April Specialty) Zoigl Star (January Specialty) 666 (2009 winner of their "home brew" contest, has become a small batch production beer) Year-round favorites are the Susquehanna Stout and Pennypacker Porter If you get your hands on any of these, you will be pleased. If you NoVA fellas come up to fish sometime, we can hit up the restaurant. I can also bring some if we ever get a trip together. Just let me know. You must take me to this place I think theres an ABC in Harrisburg, but I have never stopped in. There's a Yuengling factory up near Cabela's, great tour there!
  9. x2. Molds aren't cheap. You're looking at at least $30 dollars per mold. Try and find some used ones that people are selling. Plastic is cheap and so are the colorants and glitter BUT if you want to make a whole bunch of different colors, you're going to have a ton of money wrapped up in that stuff. You can melt the plastic in a microwave, so no need to spend money on those heating units until you know your going to keep doing it.
  10. Sam Adams Winter Guinness Draught I like anything dark. The darker, the better!
  11. Nope. Waiting to get my router. I probably won't buy that until next month
  12. Make sure the strands are balanced (sometimes some will shift to 1 side and set the jig off balance), make sure the trailer is rigged straight and doesn't have any odd 'lumps' in it from it not being on the hook right and finally make sure your hook isn't bent. Is this the same jig brand that is flipping or is it different brands? Some are just made cheaply and aren't 'balanced' and just won't run straight.
  13. Ted Nugent?
  14. I have 3 guns - 12 gauge, .32 Special and a 9mm... I think I have like 200 rounds total? Then again, I don't shoot much.
  15. That's a Big-O bag...

    Handguns

I have a Jennings Bryco 59... Worst handgun on the planet! I got it to take fly fishing to scare off the bears and critters (someone was chased by a coyote where I fish), but I never got my permit to carry it so it's been in the gun cabinet ever since. I traded someone at work my 22 rifle for it.
  17. I guess I should add, if your looking for a realistic fishing experience, I haven't found a game yet that doesn't have 'idiot' fish. Basically, in any of these games, if you get a lure in front of the fish, it's going to eat it. I've been trying to make a realistic fishing game with the Unreal Engine for some time now, but its hard to find geeks that can work on games AND fish, so no body wants to help
  18. I'm working on all the golden eggs and 3 stars on each level at the moment. Some of them are HARD to get 3 on.
  19. Really? I like Pro Fishing, but I hated their first game for wii, it was terrible.
  20. Angry Birds is the greatest Android game ever. I love shooting birds at things haha
  21. BPS The Strike is a decent game for either. Rapala Pro Fishing is probably the best Wii fishing game out at the moment. Both kind of fall short if you're looking for a REAL fishing game, as they are both kind of arcade style play, but it's better than I thought they would be.
  22. You can get jerkbaits that float and cranks that suspend so that's not entirely true. My favorite way to fish cranks or jerkbaits is suspending models, unless I'm 'clipping' grass, then I like floating models.
  23. I hope to have some done by Jan. so that's a possibility Didn't realize the cost of all this until I started buying stuff haha.
  24. Man, you're going to LOVE that phone (especially the Android OS). There is an app for just about anything. I won't say I couldn't live without my phone, but it would be hard to get through the day without it
  25. I had an average year. The real high was taking my Kayak trip down the Juniata. It really taught me more about the great fishing that's right in my backyard (and that I need a kayak haha). I too, wish I could have gotten out more. With the exception of that kayak trip, none of my fish were really BIG this year, that kind of disappointed me too. I'll take anything I can catch though
