  3. I have one of the bigger sizes in Perch. It has awesome action and it's caught a few fish (nothing worth bragging about though). For $5, I'd get as many as you can. I love the X-raps, especially the shallow shads.
  4. 1. Update the site more often 2. Learn more casting techniques and presentations with the fly rod. 3. Use the fly rod more for bass. 4. Target Muskie and Pike (I always set out to do that and end up bass fishing anyway). 5. Take my son out with me as much as possible. 6. Get my brothers out more. 7. Possibly do a BASS Northern Open tourney as a co-angler. Everything else is just bonus after that

  7. Seems a lot of people use RVT Silicone for molds. I don't know if it's easier or less smelly than Fiberglass Resin though lol Sorry I'm not much help!
  8. Hey thanks for posting this up Steve made some great points here! Thanks again for taking the time to do this Steve, I really enjoyed it!

  11. Stocked trout? Throw them a gold hook! Works around here anyway I think the people who raise our stockies turn them into idiot fish. Waxworms are another decent trout catcher too.
  12. Why aren't you pouring the mold in halves? Can't you pour some resin, put the bait down in it half way, let that dry, then pour the second half? I have no experience doing any of this, but that's what I have seen others do in tutorials
  13. I love the way that light looks, it's a perfect shot Was that a band shot? Bands always do random pics that make no sense
  14. They have robots bring rocks and specimens back to us
  15. Probably cutting funds... That would impact the search If they found anything of significants it would have been leaked by now.
  16. I'd go for it. I use the old spincaster when I take the boy out Those cheapo lures that come in those kits are great for panfish.

  19. Haven't looked at what was released, but I think we have a right to know some things and other things we will learn in due time. If it compromises the current situation of whatever is going on right now (I'm talking in general) then that info should be omitted until that situation is over or no longer sensitive. I think the government does hold onto 'secrets' too long, they should be released sooner, but not right away.
  20. Take it easy and let that hip heal! You'll be back out on the water in no time! Good luck!
  21. So that's what fill light is for! LOL I see that in Lightroom but never really used it. I think my metering was on center weighted. I need to start keeping track. I never really got into reading EXIF data, are the metering settings in there? Just about everything else is LOL I actually took that while I was driving to my favorite spot on Penn's Creek. I don't suggest driving and shooting though Oh, forgot to answer - That wasn't shot in RAW. My wife uses the camera sometimes and I usually turn it back to just jpg for her (she don't like messing with photos and usually its ebay stuff anyway). Totally forgot to put it back on RAW before I left
  22. Good, at least I'm not alone here then I currently have 2 Quantum reels and 1 rod - all of which are working fine and 1 of those reels I have had for probably 10 years.
  23. Wow... Does anyone here actually like Quantum? I have yet to have an issue with their customer service. I emailed them when I couldn't find a schematic for my reel and had it fairly quickly. I also had a reel completely lock up, sent it into them, repaired no questions - this was still under warranty though.
  24. Lucky! Someday I'll buy myself one... But by that time, the guitars being made now will be vintage Here's a good example of a shot that would have benefitted from HDRI: Poe Paddy Run by nate.follmer, on Flickr See how where the light beam hits the grass it's all washed out? If I would have been paying attention to my histogram, I would have saw that it was washed out and took another photo with a faster shutter speed to make it darker, then combine the two.
  25. That hurts man.... You cut me deep! Anyway, I used to have a Gibson Les Paul custom (it was cut like an SG). White, 3 humbuckers with all gold hardware. That thing had such a warm sound to it! I can't believe I ever got rid of that! I'll buy another one someday
