  1. Only need to inject if you have tiny parts or hard turns. That can be poured just fine, just have to do it quick LOL
  2. Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally I was always taught to multiply first, then do division.
  3. Wonder if having my profile photo linked to my FB photo is causing the issue? That's the only thing I can think of?
  4. Oh that'd be an easy one to do. How much are you willing to pay for a mold? PM me and we can discuss details. If you can find more people that one it, I could make them cheaper than just doing 1.
  5. Here Grey Wolf let me kill this thread for you Wonder what's goin on.... GLEEEENNNNNNNN!
  6. Colyer is a TOUGH fish from shore. I fish that lake a lot, so I know it fairly well. How adventurous do you feel? There's a path (sort of) on either side of the lake that ends at the main point on the lake. That point is where most of the action is. You can catch a ton of bass on a jig skipped down the point. Another good spot is behind the point - there's a little cut out with some timber in it, great spot for flippin'. Don't feel like walking that far - then try fishing where the creek enters the lake (this is on the side with the crappy boat launch, not the nice one). Ton's of pickerel in that area too, they can be fun. From the creek mouth all the way out about 3/4 of the way to the point is one huge grass flat. There's some massive fish in there, but they are hard to find with such a large area to cover. You can also try fishing around the dam, but that's hit or miss too. Crappie hang out around there mostly. This girl came out of the grass flats, I was heading to the point and this guy started yelling for me to take his photo LOL: and here is the same guy in the early 90's with a nice one from Colyer... Kinda pointless to share, but I think the photo is hilariously nostalgic I still talk to that guy from time to time, he fishes that lake almost everyday (his name is Andy, he uses a green canoe with a TM).
  7. I model my baits on the computer and cut out the mold via a CNC machine. We use Corian for our molds, easier to machine and modify than aluminum is. If you send me some photos of what you want, I can see if it's something I could do for you.
  8. Tube molds are more complicated... I wouldn't say more expensive though. Bearsbaits makes a cool tube mold, but most people dip a rod into the plastic and then cut the strands. Obviously, the more plastic you have in a bait the more it's going to cost to make, but I think the increase in plastic is minimal to the overall cost. I think I read somewhere that 1 oz. of plastic will make 5 5" senko style baits, but I don't know that for sure LOL
  9. x2 That's why I mentioned planning exactly what you want to make and what colors you use them most. When I looked into getting started, I wanted it all. I think I had about $5000 figured up into all the stuff I wanted. I guarantee you I wouldn't have even used 1/8 of that stuff if I had bought it all. Another thing is, that plastic coloring goes a LONG way, so don't be like me and think you need the biggest color bottle you can buy, the smallest will do.
  10. Lots of guys on here make their own stuff. May sound odd, but I make custom molds for a few guys, but I still have yet to pour anything myself haha First thing you need to do, figure out what style of baits you want to make and what colors you want. Start small, maybe get a pint of plastic, two or three colors, a few small things of flake and a mold or some RVT. If you get a mold, don't worry about the RVT, but you can use the RVT to make molds of existing baits.
  11. I like to buy the Octopus style sickle hooks and this is the only place I can find them for that good of a price. Never looked into the Gammies, but at least I know where to go now if I want some, thanks basser I usually use Mustads and those MATZUO sickle hooks (love 'em), but I wouldn't say I have a total brand preference.
  12. There they are You doubled up on the http://
  13. Yeap, they do I have a white and red swim jig I use on the bottom sometimes. Probably looks like a dead/dying baitfish.
  14. I think it goes back to the whole "catch fisherman" deal. It's hard to find ANY solid, 1 color bait anymore. I love white - not only does it catch fish, it's easier to modify if you want to add color to it.
  15. Anybody ever use this site? A friend of mine guides and uses them for all his hooks. Pretty cheap stuff! Was thinking about buying a few hundred sickle hooks http://www.captainhookswarehouse.com
  16. Dave do you have an entire arsenal of GIF images that make me spit coffee? That's the second time this week I've seen something you posted and made a mess.... Anyway, guys, try using the gallery for posting your images. You can keep them all in one place and link back to them whenever you want. PM me if you need help, I'm still working on that tutorial
  17. Geez thats a nice one! That's even a decently sized fish regardless of what it came from
  18. Maybe... I've never fished a clear water lake here in central PA Thank you agricultural run off!
  19. Black and Blue jig with a Blue trailer. Trailer is usually a rage craw or lobster. Black and Blue cannot be beat!
  20. Out of stock...
  21. Ah never even thought about salmon.... they do look similar when they are young. Good call Shane! Not about the fish, about valuing my opinion
  22. I hated the money Minnows... too soft for my liking. I love the shadalicious swimbait though. Sexy shad and neon ghost are my favorites. I use 4 or 5 /0 Moaner Stroker Hooks. I learned a tip from Dave Lefebre about swimbait hooks. He said most people under weight their rigs. I got better action from my swimbaits when I started using heavier hooks.
  23. That's a rainbow...
  24. Looks fine to me? I tried the site in FF, IE and Chrome and it looks fine in all of them.
  25. Fluke has a man crush...... But so do I! Welcome Don!
