  1. Like stated above check out Mudhole. Also maybe look into building it on your own? It's not that difficult at all and quite rewarding when finished. I just finished a 7'6" 5wt fly rod yesterday and I can't wait to throw some poppers with it this summer. Roby
  2. Gotta love Roboworms in Margarita Mutilator! Roby
  3. I remember an older post when they first came out and a guy had a Shimano Caenan on his. I'm pretty sure all other reels will work fine, maybe not as good as the winch but should be fine. Just as 614 Bass said it wouldn't have been very smart for Abu to make it were you have to buy a $200 reel and no others would work. Roby
  4. What!!!! No fair lol. Roby
  5. Nice job. Roby
  6. Awesome pics! Looking forward to the rest. Roby
  7. What action is it? My buddy has the 7ft MH and uses it for topwater. He has no complaints and fished it hard all last year. Roby
  8. Why do you feel you need sponsorship to fish tournaments? It's not a necessity but boy when it comes to paying for tournaments a couple sponsors would be very nice. For example say your interested in being a co angler in FLW tour it costs 700 dollars to enter and thats not including lodging, gas and all the other little goodies you have to pay for. Now this is just my 2 cents but im pretty sure thats why Nate was looking for a few sponsors last year. But what the hell do i know
  9. Thank's for the tip Francho iv'e been wondering the same thing since i am fishing out of a pontoon this upcoming season. Roby

  19. Does anyone use anything from the line of Minwax to seal there baits? It sounds like it would work perfectly. Here is a link: http://www.minwax.com/products/interior_clear_protective_finishes/polycrylic_protective_finish.html Thanks for any info Roby
  20. Does anyone have a video that shows the process from start to finish of making a crankbait? Thanks a ton. Roby
  21. I get it from Mudhole.com. It's pretty cheap in the bigger sizes; you can get 32 ounces for $45 and that will last for a long time. I've found it necessary to use U-40 Color Lock before top-coating with U-40 LS Supreme medium build. You will get fish eyes with LS Supreme medium build unless you use Color Lock first. I found that out the hard way... :-X The only other downside to using LS Supreme is that it takes 24 hours to dry tack-free, and up to a week to fully cure. It cures faster at warmer temperatures, but it still takes five days to reach full strength. Ok i may have to look into that. Thanks for the info Roby
  22. Hey Fishwhittler is that trondak clear as easy to get as devcon? Also is it any cheaper? Roby
