  3. I just got back into tying and I thought I would share some recent .
  4. Im looking for suggestions for a good Trophy bass book
  5. Actually you can use the side running ones to you're advantage. Try paralleling them to shorelines. I have had the same issues, once you catch a few fish on them they tend to run diff. nothing you can do but adapt their use.
  6. I have found using a high gear ratio reel that is smooth is key. IMO a steady retrieve is most effective, paralleling the shore is also a good tip
  7. Pretty fish . Nice job!

  9. yea I realized im in the wrong section.. sorry, but tx for the kind words
  10. Caught my personal record friday on a lipless crank . I was fishing some shallow rocks with deep water nearby when this 22.5 incher inhaled my bait. . It happend about 2:45 on a small northern Illinois lake. What would you guess this fish weighed? Fish was released!
  11. last week while fishing i caught a bass with a mouse tale sticking out of his gullet... just wondering what are some interesting things people have found in bass mouths... note: bass was fine and released
  12. Hey all, I just wanted to post here about any need for professional cameraman or editor. I have worked as a photojournalist for about 4 years in Las Vegas . I'm trying to transition into outdoor television production and my connections are limited . I love fishin and would call myself an outstanding videographer and editor . I have a resume and demo tape available ... any info would be great, tx and gl fishin pm me for a link to my demo,,,matt
  13. First off I'm new to this board and wanna say hello to everyone, looks to be a great board. So here is the dilemma I fish a small lake about 100 acres or so that is totally absent of any weed or midlake structure max depth about fifteen feet , lots of shad ,and most fish I catch are up real shallow holding tight to shoreline structure . Since the cool Illinois fall weather has moved in, water temps are around mid to upper 40's, and I'm having some difficulty locating fish. So what do you do ? depth? bates ? can I fish to shallow in late fall or to deep? thanks again and glad to be here...................
