  1. I got a Citica E I will gladly trade you for your Revo if its a righty...
  2. If you can hold out I would, I bought my STX for 99 bucks last year two days before Christmas at Gander Mountain.
  3. I agree, if you can fork out the extra cash for a STX I would go that route. If not I would still go with the SX, built like a tank and will last you for years of fishing!
  4. Any natural color/dark color...
  5. Elaborate? For $200, I can name a lot of other rods cheaper that I would rather have. Don't get me wrong they're good rods, but I would rather say get a Powell, or a Dobyns, another Crucial, etc etc. Also, I think the orange is just fugly. Have you used any of those rods you just mentioned?? I don't get why you suggest people buy certain rods when you yourself have probably never fished with one. Ern sorry for that rant. At 100 bucks I would pick up a couple, they are a seal at that price IMO.
  6. I have a STX, Citica D and E, and I would choose the STX all day long. Its just sooo much smoother than either one, drag is awesome, and I have no problem whatsoever casting light baits. Check out Gander mountain around Christmas time, I got my STX for 99 bucks.
  7. I would just buy a used citica and a new rod if I were you. I have both a Citica D and E, bought both used and are great reels for a cheaper price.
  8. I would check out the flea market for some good deals if you dont mind buying used. You can get a used Citia 301 for about 75-90 bucks, and get a Clarus at *** to fit your budget.
  9. Don't believe everything your Mom told ya Sounds like someone needs to stop playing Rock Band! ;D
  10. My thoughts exactly. X3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X10! I could post little meaningless stuff here and there like you do ALL DAY, but who really thinks its that important to have that title?? Me, I post things that I know and have experience with, I wont go around and suggest things to people that I haven't even used.
  11. I have to agree with this, no matter how fast or quick your car is front wheel drive burnouts are still dorky. -gk Thats one of the reasons why I sold my SRT, I coudnt get traction to save my life. It didnt matter how much I played with the throttle. With my old 450hp GTO I could romp on it, okay not really romp but it didnt spin really as easy which I love.
  12. Nice tipptruck, here are a couple pictures of my old SRT, it had stage 2 with a 50 trim turbo and a couple other goodies making 363 hp.
  13. That makes no sense. How can you cook it too fast and too long?? I think you may have cooked it a little longer than normal. Possibly your heat is too high, causing it to look done, but its really not on the inside, so when you leave it on longer it loses its juices, and becomes rubbery/chewy Makes perfect sense for the people that have actually cooked before... Cooking to fast means cooking on to high of heat, to long means well cooking it for to long. You combine those together and you get tough chewy chicken.
  14. You probably prefer Honda's with a huge fart can, and huge aluminum wing on the back don't you?? No, I prefer 69' Camaros with a bikini spoiler, large rear tires, and a blower sticking out of the hood. Thank you come again. Yeah when you can afford one let me know lol. I have a feeling you will be in the ricer crowd once you get your drivers license.
  15. Yeah but who wants to fight the traction that that?? I had a hp fwd (definitely not a honduh) and it sucked... And they still sound like a bunch of bee's when they are driving. We got a bunch of ricers where I live, driving around in their 16-17 second civics thinking they are fast.
  16. You probably prefer Honda's with a huge fart can, and huge aluminum wing on the back don't you?? Ricers are the best!!!!! Gooooo VTACK!!! lol
  17. You probably prefer Honda's with a huge fart can, and huge aluminum wing on the back don't you??
  18. Definitely never had Chicago deep dish pizza before... Don't speak if you don't know anything about it.
  19. You'd make a great stand-up comedian !!!!!!!!!!! He's working hard for that "Been Posting A Long Time" to be above his name. lol
  20. 15 years old and drinking vodka??
  21. Skeet/sporting clay shooting hunting darts golf good beer
  22. STX all the way, its a great reel for heavy or light weight lures/plastics.
  23. You need to get a girlfriend ;D He's not old enough to date yet... 8-) I have both Shimano, Abu, and a Pro Qualifier. I have less troubles with Abu and PQ... Maybe I just need to get the Shimano tuned.
  24. You are right it isn't necessary, but it is nice to have when learning how to use one. And for 100 bucks for a reel with dual braking is hard to beat. I just don't want him to buy a $120 reel and get discouraged because it is having a hard time adjusting it.
  25. If its your first baitcaster I would definitely go with the Pro Qualifier... It has dual braking which will help you out quite a bit when learning how to cast.
