You're 15-16 man.... Of course you will have good lungs, and a nice mouth.
I have been dipping for a few years but at MOST its one can every two weeks because I only dip when I am outside (hunting, fishing, or golfing).
You just described the pond behind my house lol. I have been killing them using a weightless rage tail craw. I cant use spinnerbaits in the pond unless I am near the middle so I just stick with weightless plastics or maybe a t-rigged if I need to get past some of the algae... Also hollow body frogs have been a good producer for bigger bass...
I have to fish with you sometime at Clinton, I am still having trouble figuring that place out... I must be doing it all wrong, or I am just not very good at fishing deep...
The pond behind my house is just like you have explained, and I find throwing light texas rigged baits work every well also, just enough weight to get it through the grass... Also like other have said topwater (fog, buzzbait) works very well.
Hmmmm... I have never texas rigged a plastic on a jig, I might have to try that. I can see where it would get hung up a lot less doing that. I usually just thread on on the hook...
I have the 10e and I don't think I could put it on top of a car by myself. I can put it in the back of my truck but probably couldn't lift it over my head like that. If you are looking for something you can put on top of your car I would get a kayak...
Ended up picking up the boat for 900
The outboard is a 12hp Gale, it started on the 4th pull, trailer was in great shape (just been sanded down and painted), and the trolling motor works fine. All in all I think it was a pretty good deal.
I'm pretty glad I missed out on this... Sounds like BC has some growing up to do yet... You take out new, you put in new. If you take out a crank that is in good condition you put one back that is in good condition. A swap isn't something you participate in to get rid of your crap.
I'm on the market for one also, I need to be able to fit at least 5 370 boxes and a spinnerbait box in the bag.
It looks like Cabelas Advanced Angler Pro Series Tackle Bag, or the Browing top loader are the bags that fit the bill the best.
To the boaters out there, do you think either of these bags would be to big to bring on as a co-angler?
There is a 14' john boat with trailer, 12hp outboard, and 35lb trolling motor for 1000 bucks. Is this a good deal?
The boat is solid, it camo'd out and the trailer is in really good condition. The trailer has rollers, wiring looks good (lights work).
Is this a good price for this setup?
