I was having issues with the bass club I was in a few years back and wanted an outside opinion. I read an article on Aaron Martens and he sounded like a genuine guy, so I shot him an email asking for advice. Lo and behold, he replied within a day with a good, honest 500+ word response that really told me what I needed to hear. Any Professional angler who would take the time out to write to someone he doesn't know or owe anything to, is anything but a 'doofus.'

Doubt there will be anyone else on this forum from British Columbia, but no matter where we're from, we're all bass brothers (and sisters)! Awesome site, great-looking forum, can't wait to participate! If anyone is curious about the B.C. bass scene, feel free to drop me a line.

It's not the biggest, but there was a tournament out in Western Canada (British Columbia) a few years back where the winning weight was 27 lbs 6 oz. They grow 'em big out there, and the locals are too busy fishing for salmon and steelhead to notice.
